Officials say the Countach LPI 800-4 will be powered by a Lamborghini 6.5-litre V12 engine with a maximum output of 780 horsepower, while a 48-volt motor mounted directly on the gearbox will also provide an additional 34 horsepower, with a combined maximum output of up to 814 horsepower. It is reported that the motor powered by the supercapacitor can output three times the power equivalent to the same weight lithium battery.
It is reported that the number of 112 units of limited production is taken from the internal project code name - "LP 112" used by the original Lamborghini Countach in research and development.
