Live Bar January 28, NBA officially announced the East and West All-Star starting lineup today, Grizzlies guard Morant was selected as the starting, the first time in his career to be selected as an All-Star.
According to BR reporter Taylor Brooks, Morant listed three goals for the season in an interview before the start of the season: 1. Selected as an All-Star, 2. Selected to the Best Team 3. Win the championship.
With Morant being named to the All-Star starter, he has achieved one of those goals. It is worth mentioning that Morant will be the first player in Grizzlies history to be selected as an All-Star starter since Gasol Jr. in 2015.
