On October 19, Wei Shujun's feature film debut "Wild Horse Mane" was announced to be scheduled for November 26.
"Wild Horse Mane" starred Zhou You and Zheng Yingchen, starred Wang Xiaomu, Tong Linkai, Zhao Dona, Liu Yuting, and Li Meng, telling the story of a graduating senior student, Ah Kun, who bought a second-hand jeep and dreamed of going to the grassland, but unexpectedly on the way.
Produced by Ali Pictures "May Make", "Wild Horse Mane" has been invited to participate in internationally renowned film festivals such as London and Busan, and has won many honors at the Pingyao International Film Festival and the Hainan Island International Film Festival. In 2020, the film was shortlisted for the official section of the 73rd Cannes Film Festival, becoming the only Feature Film in Chinese language to be selected for the official section of the 2020 Cannes Film Festival. In addition, the lead actor Zhou You also won the "Fei Mu Honor Best Actor" at the 4th Pingyao International Film Festival with this film.
