As we get closer and closer to the opening of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, a large number of people, including athletes, are nervously "preparing for the battle." At 18:24 on January 18, at the National Cross-Country SkiIng Center in zhangjiakou area of the Winter Olympics, the outdoor temperature has been more than ten degrees Celsius below zero, and 28-year-old heavy duty truck engineer Cui Dongyu is responsible for the maintenance of the snow wax car with Shandong Sports Industry Group and Haier Group, and the end of the work that night has been nearly 11 o'clock. What they maintain is the "China's first, world-leading, completely domestically produced" snow wax car developed by Shandong.
At the same time, at the National Alpine Ski Center in the Yanqing Division of the Winter Olympics, the temperature has reached -17 °C, and Han Xiaoguo, deputy manager of the Taijian Group Ropeway Installation Company from Tai'an, and the operation and maintenance personnel of many companies have just completed the cable car collection work. Similar to the snow wax car, Han Xiaoguo's company is not only the construction party of the ropeway, but also responsible for operation and maintenance.
In fact, the Shandong wisdom and hard-core support behind the Winter Olympics are more than that. In many projects, Shandong not only provided equipment from scratch, but also "sent" operation and maintenance personnel to escort the Winter Olympics in an all-round way.
From snow wax cars and snow wax to anti-cutting skating suits, they all fill the gap in China
As the focus of the world, the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics has attracted much attention from the mainland. To this end, China has launched a number of scientific and technological research projects to continuously promote the self-reliance and self-improvement of ice and snow industry technology. Among them, snow wax vehicles and snow wax are key problems to be overcome. And these have been conquered by Shandong one by one.
In fact, only some countries with very developed ice and snow sports in foreign countries are equipped with snow wax vehicles, and the research on snow wax vehicles on the mainland has been in a vacant state. The research and development and manufacture of domestic snow wax vehicles can be described as no reference and starting from scratch. In order to solve this problem, more than 1,000 manufacturing personnel in Shandong spent 11 months to tackle the problem, and finally successfully developed China's first snow wax car.
From scratch, Shandong snow wax trucks have been all over the internet since their birth. After the delivery of the snow wax car, it began to serve the training and competition of the national cross-country ski team, and Shandong also sent an operation and maintenance team to follow the car throughout the process.
As the captain of China's snow wax car, An Zetao from Shandong Sports Industry Group has embarked on an escort snow wax car tour since November 2 last year. Over the past few months, the Shandong support team has escorted the snow wax car to Xinjiang, Hebei, Shanghai and Beijing, successfully serving 3 events, and now An Zetao and Cui Dongyu and 12 other people are following the car in the Zhangjiakou area of the Winter Olympics. According to the plan, they will continue to serve until the end of the Winter Olympic Games.
What makes An Zetao proud is that in addition to the snow wax car, there is also the first set of fluorine-free snow wax "Taishan" developed by Shandong in Shandong.
As a necessity for athletes to ski, snow wax is quite important. When athletes ski, the heat generated by friction between the bottom of the snowboard and the snow melts the snow and forms a layer of water. Without snow wax protection, snow water will seep into the bottom of the board, damaging the snowboard and the athlete's sliding speed will decrease.
However, like the snow wax car, the research on mainland snow wax was previously blank. Shandong has set up a joint research team for snow wax to this end.
Recently, when it comes to the research and development process, Wu Yang, a doctor at the Shandong Provincial Laboratory of Advanced Materials and Green Manufacturing in Yantai, told the New Yellow River reporter that the challenge they faced was not only how to develop snow wax, but also how to test the snow tribological properties of snow wax samples at that time. Although his laboratory has become a state key laboratory in the field of tribology and the only product quality supervision and inspection center for lubricating materials in China, there is no ready-made snow friction coefficient test device in the laboratory or even in China. Not only that, but even the snow needed for testing was difficult to obtain in the laboratory.
Therefore, in the research and development of the entire snow wax, Wu Yang and his colleagues not only have to look for the formula of snow wax, but also make snow and test equipment in the laboratory. After experiencing many difficulties and lasting two years, the R&D team with an average age of 28 years old successfully developed the first set of fluorine-free snow wax in China. Tested by the State Key Laboratory of Solid Lubrication of Lanzhou Institute of Chemicals, Chinese Academy of Sciences, laboratory data such as physical and chemical indicators and friction coefficients of solid snow wax are comparable to the international level, and some indicators are better than imported products. Snow wax material is free of fluorine and harmful heavy metals, no environmental toxicity, no biological toxicity.
"It's a long time for a new material to go from the lab to the product, and it takes four or five years at the earliest." The research of domestic snow wax from 0 to 1, the whole process is very difficult, can be successfully developed in two years, this speed has been quite fast. Wu Yang said that after the snow wax car served the national team event, they have provided more than 700 pieces of solid snow wax for the national team to try. In addition to solid snow wax, they have also developed powder wax and liquid wax.
In fact, in addition to snow wax cars and snow waxes, Shandong has also successfully developed anti-cutting skating suits with cutting resistance of level 5, which also fills the domestic gap. Recently, Shandong Jianhua Zhongxing Glove Co., Ltd. has delivered 50 sets of anti-cutting skating suits to the Shandong Provincial Skating Team.
Chen Jianhua, general manager of the company, told the New Yellow River reporter that the skating suit was tested by a French company and reached the level 5 anti-cutting performance, no less than the international leading level, but the cost dropped below half of the other party. At present, the skating suit has been used for shandong team training and has received good results.
Shandong refrigeration equipment makes snow and ice, making the "ice ribbon" the first in the world
Just as An Zetao and the Shandong team were guaranteeing the snow wax car in Zhangjiakou, several employees of Jinan enterprise Shandong Shenzhou Refrigeration Company were also in Beijing to guarantee some of the refrigeration equipment they provided for the National Speed Skating Hall and the National Gymnasium.
It is understood that in the same stage competition with many foreign enterprises, this national brand order was spent on Shenzhou refrigeration, which is inseparable from the advantages of its technical solutions.
Xu Xiai, deputy general manager of Shandong Shenzhou Refrigeration Company, told the New Yellow River reporter that the national speed skating hall known as the "ice ribbon" adopts carbon dioxide transcritical direct cold ice making technology, which is one of the most advanced, environmentally friendly and efficient ice making technologies in winter sports venues. This set of refrigeration equipment can not only make ice, but also realize the heat recovery and recycling generated by the ice making process, and the recovered heat can be used to produce domestic hot water for athletes, hot water for melting pools, ice pouring and maintenance. The refrigeration method of the whole ice making system is 20% more efficient than the traditional method, and in the case of full ice surface operation, it can save more than 2 million kWh of electricity a year and improve the comprehensive utilization efficiency of energy consumption.
In the actual project promotion, Shenzhou Refrigeration has also encountered many problems. For example, according to the requirements of the Winter Olympic Organizing Committee, the temperature difference between the ice surfaces of the two ice rinks of the "Ice Ribbon" should be controlled within 0.5 ° C. Shenzhou refrigeration previously had a minimum temperature difference limit of 1.5 °C, how to reduce the temperature difference to 0.5 °C? Faced with such a challenge, the company's technical team finally overcome this problem after more than 20 days of day and night research and repeated deduction, so that the ice surface temperature difference was controlled below 0.3 ° C.
Many employees of Shenzhou Refrigeration are proud that the refrigeration equipment they provided for the two projects has achieved the success of one-time ice making, and helped the "ice ribbon" achieve the first of 4 in the world: the world's first winter Olympic speed skating venue using carbon dioxide transcritical direct evaporative refrigeration; the design and application of the 14 cubic meter carbon dioxide barrel pump unit is the world's first; the application of centralized medium pressure return oil in the carbon dioxide refrigeration system is the world's first; and the application of 120 km of ultra-long stainless steel cold pipe in the artificial ice rink is the world's first.
In fact, Shandong's refrigeration equipment not only provides refrigeration equipment and snow machines for the winter Olympics ice making, but also for the training of national athletes. The refrigeration, dehumidification and other system solutions used in the Zhangjiakou Chongli Indoor U-slot venue that have been put into use come from Qingdao AUCMA. For the first time, the company applied the new environmentally friendly refrigerant R448A to ski resorts, effectively improving energy efficiency by 15% and saving 1 million kWh of electricity per year. When outdoors at 35°C, it can also reach minus 15°C indoors.
Wang Mingyi, general manager of AUCMA's smart cold chain division, introduced that after the plan was passed, they overcame difficulties and carried out construction and installation day and night, shortening the original 120-day construction period to 90 days.
Not only that, AUCMA also solved the problem of high-temperature snowmaking for the snow project training camp base of the State General Administration of Sports in Weichang County, Chengde City, Hebei Province.
It turned out that since March 2021, with the increase in temperature, the original snow machine of the base could not make snow in an outdoor environment above -5 °C, and the snow in the training camp showed signs of accelerated melting, which affected the normal training of athletes and required the transformation of training facilities.
After learning about the situation, Wang Mingyi and the team made a summer snowmaking plan and cold therapy equipment solution after field investigation. After research and development, AUCMA pioneered a 40-ton professional high-temperature snow machine that realizes snowmaking function under all-season conditions (within 35 °C of ambient temperature), which is not affected by the venue and season, and meets the snow requirements for ice and snow competitions and training. The 1.7 million yuan high-temperature snow machine has been donated for base training. At the same time, they have successfully developed and produced mobile cold therapy equipment, portable cryogenic cold therapy cabins, which have been delivered and used to escort athletes in all aspects.
Shandong-made intelligent system makes the Winter Olympics special train smarter, and 40 hydrogen-fueled buses are also in place
In addition to providing refrigeration equipment for the Winter Olympic Games, the recently launched "Ruixue Yingchun" Beijing Winter Olympics train has also been fully empowered by Shandong Science and Technology. The world's first high-speed rail 5G ultra-high-definition Olympic studio landed on the Winter Olympics special train. Sitting on this 350-kilometer-per-hour high-speed train, passengers can look up and see the 4K Ultra HD TV live. The train can adjust the volume of the station according to the noise level, and also deployed a passenger hearing aid system for the hearing impaired...
Such a "smart" and intelligent Winter Olympic special train is due to the intelligent passenger information system created by CRRC Qingdao Sifang Vehicle Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CRRC Sifang Institute").
Recently, the New Yellow River reporter learned from CRRC Sifang that the passenger information system of the Winter Olympics special train independently developed by them is deeply integrated with the Beidou navigation and positioning system, which can realize the accurate positioning of the train and automatic station reporting services. The broadcast system integrates noise detection function, which can realize the automatic adjustment of the broadcast volume of the station. They not only deployed a special 5G wireless communication system for vehicles and land on the Winter Olympics special train, but also installed a self-developed intelligent interactive terminal. During the Winter Olympics, high-speed rail passengers can not only watch the live broadcast of the event in real time through high-definition TV, but also get vehicle operation information such as train speed, indoor and outdoor temperature, etc., and realize wireless screen projection on mobile phones and online on-demand broadcast of massive movies.
Not only empowering the Winter Olympics special train, Shandong also sent hydrogen fuel buses for the Winter Olympics.
At present, 40 Zhongtong hydrogen fuel buses from Liaocheng have all been stationed in the core competition area of Zhangjiakou of the Winter Olympic Games, waiting for the arrival of the Winter Olympics. At that time, these vehicles will be used as media vehicles to shuttle between various venues and news centers.
This is the second time that Zhongtong Bus has been associated with the Olympic Games. The winning models of Zhongtong this time all use 12 meters of new N series hydrogen fuel buses, and the vehicles are equipped with a full range of intelligent driving assistance equipment, including ADAS, etc., which can achieve normal start and operation of -35 °C vehicles, and maintain the temperature in the car at 15 °C.
It is understood that in addition to Zhongtong Bus, the snowmobile developed by Zibo enterprise Shandong Liangzi Power Co., Ltd. will also escort the Winter Olympics.
Ropeways, protective nets, dried peony flowers... Shandong elements cover the three major competition areas of the Winter Olympic Games
In addition to ensuring the Zhangjiakou and Beijing races, Shandong's technical equipment and team are ensuring the construction and operation and maintenance of the ropeway of the National Alpine Ski Center in Yanqing.
Judging from the three major competition areas of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, the core area of Yanqing Competition Area is located in the southern foothills of Xiaohaituo Mountain, with an altitude of 2198 meters, which is the most difficult competition area for the construction of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games. Builders have gone through a lot of hard work to turn the blueprint into reality.
Among them, 6 of the 11 ropeways of the National Alpine Ski Center were built by the Luqi Taijian Group Ropeway Installation Company. As a leader in the domestic ropeway construction and installation industry, the company has undertaken more than 70% of the large passenger ropeways in China. Although experienced, when it comes to the construction of the alpine ski center ropeway, the company's manager Li Yingchao told the New Yellow River reporter that the coordination difficulty and complexity of the construction of these 6 ropeways are more difficult and complex than any previous ropeway.
Today, the National Alpine Ski Centre runs 11 ropeways that allow athletes to reach their respective tracks in 30 minutes. When the Taijian Group Ropeway Installation Company first came here to build the ropeway, their living area and preparation area were 20 kilometers away. What made them even more difficult was that there was no road on the mountain, and when the cargo rope was first built, they could only untie the machinery and carry it on foot to the mountain. From the bottom of the mountain to the work site, it takes an hour or two to walk, and it takes more than 3 hours to reach the top of the mountain. At that time, Li Yingchao walked 20,000 or 30,000 steps a day.
What impresses Li Yingchao so far is that on October 31, 2019, in order to complete the concrete pouring of the top of the mountain on time, more than 20 of them worked until the early morning, and when they came down from the top of the mountain, it was 3 a.m. On that day, they worked for up to 18 hours.
It is under such harsh conditions that they have compressed the time of the original two-month shelf and one cargo cable to 6 a monthly shelf, and the speed is ahead of the country! Originally two years of construction, they completed the construction task in only 13 months and passed the acceptance at one time.
"The construction process is too difficult, but we are honored to contribute to the Winter Olympics, and we feel a great responsibility." Han Xiaoguo said that since August 10 last year, he and more than a dozen colleagues have returned here again, and according to the schedule of the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, they will serve until the end of March and the beginning of April.
At present, in addition to the Taijian Group Ropeway Installation Company, Shandong Enterprise Taishan Ropeway Operation Center, Tianmeng Mountain Ropeway Station and other units are also operating in Yanqing Division.
In fact, in addition to the above examples, there are many Shandong elements behind the Winter Olympics, for example, the safety net produced by Shandong Binzhou Qiangsheng Sporting Goods Company will be used for the Venue of the Shougang Ski Jump center of the Winter Olympics; Yingpaisi has equipped the National Speed Skating Hall with fitness equipment covering aerobic exercise, strength training and other types; the peony dried flowers of Heze Chengsheng Peony Industry Co., Ltd. have also been stationed in 7 Winter Olympic contracted hotels and Yanqing Museum...
In the near future, the world's attention to the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics will be grandly opened. The Shandong wisdom and Shandong plan behind this will provide solid technical support for the smooth holding of the Winter Olympics and show China's ice and snow strength. The Shandong team that silently escorts the Winter Olympics will also contribute shandong strength to the Beijing Winter Olympics with perseverance and dedication.
