According to the Evening Standard London, Arsenal are currently considering introducing Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz after missing out on Lyon midfielder Guimarães.
It is reported that Lyon midfielder Guimarães is about to undergo a medical examination at Newcastle in South America, and if all goes well, he may join the Magpies for 30 million pounds. If the trade is completed, arsenal will shift the transfer target, and this person will be Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz.
Arsenal boss Altte has previously worked with Douglas Luiz at Manchester City, and the Brazilian international has been excellent after leaving the Blue Moon, but he has not yet completed a contract extension with the club, so many clubs have become interested in Douglas Luiz.
