Recently, the reporter learned from the Nanxiong Municipal Power Supply Bureau that the 9 public charging stations newly built in our city in 2021 were officially put into use before the Spring Festival to further meet the public's demand for public charging facilities for new energy vehicles.
In order to better meet the charging needs of new energy vehicles in rural areas, the Nanxiong Municipal Power Supply Bureau actively laid out the construction of charging infrastructure, and invested a total of 2.9463 million yuan in 2021 to build 9 new public charging stations, namely in Jiejie Town, Pingtian Town, Wuqi Town, Dengfang Town, Quan'an Town, Baishun Town, Nanmu Town, Hatfeng Town and Main Tian Town.
Yuan Jun, deputy manager of the power supply service center of Nanxiong Power Supply Bureau: In 2021, our bureau will take the initiative to dock with the relevant departments of local governments to establish the landing point location of charging pile projects, and all 9 public charging stations will be put into operation before the Spring Festival.
At present, there are 15 public charging stations in the city. Next, the Municipal Power Supply Bureau will continue to promote the construction of public charging stations for electric vehicles, and the remaining five towns that do not cover charging stations, such as Lanhe, Jiangtou, Zhujie, Hukou and Youshan, are expected to be completed within 2022.
