In my memory, fried dumplings are my favorite, making this dish is very laborious: the mother first washed the glutinous rice, steamed, mixed with the chopped pork filling, add minced onion, ginger, corn starch, eggs, salt, chicken essence, stir hard, and then rub into a ping-pong ball; father gently put the balls into the oil pot one by one, at this time the fire should not be large, to low heat and slow frying, otherwise the balls will be fried; when the balls are fried to a golden brown, they can be fished out with a colander. At this time, the room was filled with the smell of rounds, and my sister and I looked at it with saliva and couldn't wait to take a bite, it was called an incense! When the Chinese New Year's Eve came, the lights came on, and the family sat around the steaming dining table, laughing continuously, warm and happy. In recent years, the living conditions have improved, my sister and I do not want the elderly parents to work hard for the Chinese New Year's Eve meal, always set the Chinese New Year's Eve meal in the hotel early, not only can taste different flavors, but also save time and effort.
Sticking to the Spring Festival is an important symbol of the Spring Festival. In my memory, I was on winter vacation and always followed my mother to the street to buy Spring Festival on the day when the year was approaching. My mother held my hand tightly and weaved through the bustling crowd, and the street vendors lined up the Spring League from largest to smallest for people to choose from. At that time, the Spring League was mostly handwritten, and the black or gold brush characters on the big red paper were vigorous and powerful, full of auspiciousness. Later, with the change of the times, most of the Spring League is printed, the paper quality is much better than the original, and there are more noodles to choose when buying and selling, but compared with the handwritten Spring League that is permeated with ink fragrance, it seems to have a little less charm of the year. 6 years ago, my cousin signed up for a calligraphy tutoring class, and after a few years, his skills continued to improve, so my family's Spring League was almost "contracted" by him. Looking at the Spring Festival written by my family on the gate, I felt particularly kind, as if there was a warm current surging in my heart.
New Year's Day is indispensable to buy New Year goods. In the past, when buying New Year goods, it often had to run back and forth many times. I remember when I was a child, there were no big shops near my house, and my mother often took me to buy New Year goods farther away. At that time, the taste of squeezing the bus with large bags and small bags of New Year goods was really uncomfortable, and some foreign specialties could not be bought locally. Firecrackers were indispensable in childhood.
