On the occasion of the Lunar Year of the Tiger, the "Have Fun, New Tigers Add Art" art tour kicked off in Shanghai Xintiandi and will be open to the public free of charge from January 24 to February 20, 2022.
The exhibition is jointly created by Shanghai Xintiandi and Chinese female pioneer artist Song Santu, who draws on the spiritual strength of the traditional Chinese New Year "Zodiac Tiger", presents the artistic tiger of "Daji, Golden Luck, Good Fortune, Rich Fortune", and through the use of AR technology, offers sincere New Year wishes to the public in the form of multi-dimensional interaction.
The Liangyuan Tiger, which stops at the entrance of The Shikumen Block of Xintiandi, was born by absorbing the nutrients of peach blossoms, and its bright colors and cute demeanor express people's beautiful desire for true love.
The "Tiger And Tiger Wishing Pool" in Xintiandi Fashion I Outdoor Plaza is an important work in this exhibition - with pink and red as the main colors, the 5-meter-high "Golden Luck Tiger" combined with fireworks blooming totem to decorate the New Year, at the "sparkling" Wishing Pool, citizens can watch, pray, rest, and linger in the neighborhood full of New Year atmosphere.
An ancient blessing ceremony representing Chinese culture officially kicked off the Curtain of the Chinese New Year.
Next, Shanghai Xintiandi will stage a New Year event with the theme of "New Year Good Color Head", bringing colorful citizens' experiences such as the New Year Flower Market, Flower Tiger Parade, and Non-Heritage Handicrafts.
