The late Ming Dynasty Huanghuali Circle Chair, 63 long, 49.3 cm high, light yellow and slightly brown wood color, rich and complex texture, has a different feeling.
The upper three sections of the five-connecting chair circle are mainly sequential, with few single changes in color, alternating changes of fluorescence, and light and shade are clear.
The wood at the handrail is very different, and the upper branch of the foot long section is overgrown, causing the texture to be distorted, leaving several tanuki ghost faces, some of which are also crowded together, and initially have the form of a tumor scar. Sitting on a chair, you can enjoy this magical pattern while touching it.
Years of friction make the surface of the slurry thick and lustrous, and the polished tiles have a golden stone texture.
Around the grimace, the wood was layered by friction and wear, as if it would peel off. In addition, the photo is colored and reddish due to the shooting distance.
There is an ink-colored oil line on the right armrest, which is spread out layer by layer, irregularly scattered, and some are integrated with the wood grain.
The wood grain on the single board backrest is vivid and gorgeous, and the size of the grimace adds up to no less than ten places, showing the characteristics of yellow rosewood at a glance.
In general, the surface of the wood appears to be somewhat rough, not as delicate as the usual huanghuali furniture, which is due to the fact that the circle chair was not finely polished after completion, or the polishing method at that time could only reach this level. There are also reasons for the potholes at the ends of the handrails.
The middle of the oval shape stretched by the wood grain is also the area where the brown eye is loosely divergent and concentrated, and the glow becomes brighter and brighter against the background of the light color.
The texture of the side of the chair plate is different, but the texture of the wood is the same, and only the old material that has grown for hundreds of years will be so thick and dense.
There are obvious wheat ear lines at the right end of the large side, the surface of the middle section is smoothed, the brown eyes become sharper and shallower, and the wood is much smoother.
The chair is tall in size and rarely comparable to its peers, and has been or is not used by ordinary people in the past.
