Best Vietnam Spring Festival single volume soared After the RCEP took effect, the business reached a new level

The U.S. Stock Research Agency learned that the Spring Festival is the largest and most lively traditional festival in Vietnam. The Year of the Tiger is approaching, and the major local e-commerce platforms have entered the long tail stage of the shopping season. Since the Christmas holiday shopping season, best vietnam's express delivery order volume has increased by more than 220% compared with usual, and orders are mainly concentrated in clothing, home, gifts and other categories.

Stimulated by the promotion of the platform and the epidemic, online shopping has become the daily consumption choice of many Vietnamese people. According to a report jointly released by Google, Temasek and Bain, Vietnam's e-commerce economy will grow by 53% in 2021, and it is expected to become the fastest growing Internet economy in Southeast Asia in the next 10 years. At present, more than 70% of the people in Vietnam are using smartphones, and the Internet penetration rate is about 66%.

Wu Di, general manager of Best Vietnam, is deeply touched by this: "In 2019, the company started with less than 30 employees, and now we have about 13,000 staff members to receive, send and receive and process express deliveries. Here we have witnessed the take-off of the e-commerce economy. ”

In 2021, Best Vietnam handed over a beautiful report card: the annual volume increased by 325% year-on-year to 27 million pieces.

Growth comes from accumulation. Best invested more than 20 million yuan in Vietnam last year to expand the fleet; at the same time, more than 500 terminal stations were added, and two large distribution centers were launched, of which the new distribution center in Bac Ninh covers an area of 45,000 square meters and has a daily processing capacity of 1 million pieces, which is currently the largest distribution center of Best in Southeast Asia.

Accumulation leads to progress. At the beginning of January this year, Best Vietnam held a brand upgrade ceremony. At the meeting, it was announced that in order to provide consumers with more comprehensive and efficient services, Best Vietnam will increase network density in 2022, increase the number of sites to 1500, and open a secondary franchisee system to extend its tentacles to smaller market areas.

At the upgrade ceremony, Wu Di said: "The plan of Baishi in Vietnam is based on ten or twenty years. We are now laying the groundwork and in the near future we will introduce and localize other mature Chinese logistics solutions in order to serve the local economy and society and provide more jobs. ”

At present, Best has carried out express delivery business in Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Cambodia, and set up a cross-border logistics network between China and Southeast Asia. As of the end of September 2021, Best has 30 self-operated express distribution centers and more than 1,400 stations in Southeast Asia.

With the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) entering into force as scheduled at the beginning of this year and the recent opening of the China-Laos Railway, Best's business in Southeast Asia will also reach a new level.

Zhou Shaoning, founder, chairman and CEO of Best Group, said: "RCEP will greatly promote the growth of inter-regional trade, cross-border e-commerce and related industries. On the one hand, after the agreement came into effect, Best's cross-border logistics costs in Southeast Asia have become lower, customs clearance efficiency has been improved, and investment has become more convenient; on the other hand, Best's business in Southeast Asia can also better participate in the open market in the region, creating more opportunities for expanding business and attracting investment. ”
