According to reports, the large-scale series of fine art books "Dictionary of World Artists——— Selected By Chinese and Foreign Artists" issued this time is an important work that integrates scholarship, information, knowledge and appreciation, and is the crystallization of major achievements in the field of ancient and modern Chinese and foreign art. Based on the principle of objectivity and impartiality, the editorial board conducts merit-based evaluation and inclusion, covering artists from China, Japan, the United States and other countries.

Tang Xiande, who is more than a year old, is a native of Yingshan, graduated from the Art Department of the former Southwest Normal University (now Southwest University) and studied Chinese Painting at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. His works have been selected for many large-scale exhibitions at home and abroad and won many honors. His work "Jiangshan" won the Elite Award of the Philippine International Cultural Exchange Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition; "Xia Jiang" won the bronze medal of the 2000 World Chinese Art Exhibition, exhibited at the National Art Museum of China, and was collected by the People's Pictorial; "Every Year There Is Fish" was collected by the Charles de Gaulle Chinese Library in Paris.

On July 15, 2021, the "Centennial Course——— First National Ceremony Philatelic Cultural and Creative Summit and Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition, sponsored by China Philatelic Art Network and China Centennial Masters Network, was held at the Beijing National Cultural Palace. Tang Xiande's two works of "Magical Jiuzhaigou" and "Mountain Spring" appeared in the exhibition, and 19 works such as "White and Flawless", "Pine Crane Evergreen" and "White Cloud Deep is My Home" were selected into the collection of stamp albums.

It is reported that Tang Xiande is a specially invited calligrapher and painter of the China Academy of Arts, a director of the Chinese National Painters Association, and has been awarded the titles of "National Gold Medal Artist", "100 Chinese Calligraphers and Painters", "World Chinese Powerful Calligraphers and Painters" and so on.
