According to reports, Arsenal are actively seeking the possibility of bringing in Real Sociedad player Isaac as an alternative to Vlahovic.
The Athletic reporter David Ornstein reported that the Gunners are actively looking for other options due to difficulties completing Vlahovich's deal this month.
One of the candidates was Real Sociedad Isaac. The player's contract contains a severance payment clause, although there are reports that Arsenal are trying to negotiate to lower Isaac's price.
This is not surprising, as Isaac's termination payment is said to be 90 million euros (75 million pounds).
While it costs a lot to bring in a top scorer these days, it's a bit too expensive for a player who hasn't scored much in league games this season.
Before the season, the 22-year-old Isaac was in good momentum at Real Sociedad, scoring nine goals in his debut season (16 games in all competitions) and 17 goals in the second season.
But by this season, the Sweden international had scored just four league goals and eight in all competitions, but it still didn't deserve the £75 million.
That's not to say is a bad signing. Although the goal count is a bit low, the potential figures of the shooter suggest that he still has a lot of potential.
Similar to Vlahović, Isaac is not very old but already has a lot of experience, so he is more in line with Arsenal's characteristics in recent transfer windows.
