Now, according to JDI's official information, the three parties have reached a settlement on the patent dispute.
JDI said that the three companies had an in-depth and sincere discussion on the disputed infringement issue, and now JDI, Panasonic and Pegasus agreed to settle it amicably, respect each other's patent rights, and withdraw all lawsuits against each other. As part of the settlement, the three companies have now entered into a patent cross-licensing agreement under which JDI and Panasonic will receive patent licensing fees from Pegasus.

At the same time, JDI said that benefiting from the introduction of patent royalties, JDI expects to improve its operating profit and loss, current profit and loss and final profit and loss in fiscal 2021, and is expected to benefit by 2 billion yen, or about 111 million yuan.
