Jeep unveiled the Upland Special Edition model for Liberty Man and Guide, and the new car will feature more environmentally friendly materials on the interior. In addition to the regular fuel version and plug-in models, this special edition will also include the new e-Hybrid models.
Both the Liberty and Guider's Upland Special Edition models use a unique light blue bodywork and a black roof, in addition to black contrast stickers and copper trims in both cover sections. Both cars are equipped with bright black rims, with the Liberty having 17-inch rims and the Guider having 18-inch rims.
In the interior part, the two-car Upland Special Edition uses a large number of environmentally friendly recyclable materials, which are used in the ceiling, foot pads, interior panels and so on. Both cars are equipped with SEAQUAL seats made of marine recycled plastic and feature a black-and-blue contrast stitching design, plus a clear eco-friendly logo.
In terms of power, in addition to the fuel version and plug-in hybrid version models that have been launched, the special edition model will also provide a new 48V light hybrid power composed of a 1.5T engine and an electric motor, of which the maximum power of the engine is 130Ps, the peak torque is 240N·m, and it is matched by a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 48V motor provides an additional 20 hp and 55 Nm.
Jeep's special edition models are mainly aimed at Europe, including Germany, France, the Netherlands, Scandinavia and Portugal, and these new electric hybrid models will go on sale in March. We also expect Jeep to make more moves in China, after all, if we don't put more effort, it will not be far from exiting.
