1. Legendary childhood

The name of this martyr was He Baozhen. He Baozhen was born in 1902 in Hunan. Her family was very poor, so her parents gave her to the landlord's family in the village when she was a child. According to the law at that time, He Baozhen's personal attachment relationship at this time already belonged to the Jiang family, not her parents' family—in the old society, the poor chose to let the next generation lose their freedom in order to ensure that the next generation would not starve to death, which was regarded as a unique legal remedy in the past Chinese legal system. Although this kind of behavior is very backward according to modern concepts, at that time, it was the most helpless choice.

The landlord's surname was Jiang. After the Jiang family took in He Baozhen, they let He Baozhen serve as the child bride of the nephew of the old master of the Jiang family.

It is said that Mr. Jiang has a daughter, and this daughter wants to go to the Yang Academy to study. Old Master Jiang considered that his daughter needed a servant to study, so he asked He Baozhen to be an accompaniment. Who expected that this He Baozhen was born smart, in the process of accompanying reading, mastered a lot of knowledge, and also relied on his own results, was admitted to the Hunan Normal School.

2. Revolutionary career

China in the early 20th century was actually on the eve of great changes—on the one hand, Empress Dowager Cixi announced the preparation of a constitution under the pursuit of foreigners, and on the other hand, revolutionary movements across the south rose and fell. In such an atmosphere, He Baozhen was also exposed to a lot of progressive ideas in school. Especially after the Xinhai Revolution overthrew the Qing Dynasty, many advanced ideas spread in new schools. For a time, the student movement was in full swing. He Baozhen also participated in these movements. And in these movements, I met many well-known figures in modern and modern history, including great people, including her later husband, Chairman Liu, the chairman of New China.

When He Baozhen participated in the student movement at the school, because he angered the interests of the school, the school expelled He Baozhen. At this time, red ideas were also introduced to China, and progressive people such as great men were also preparing to establish China's red organizations. He Baozhen therefore accepted the idea of red and became a revolutionary. Moreover, in 1923, He Baozhen and Chairman Liu were happily married.

In the days that followed, He Baozhen contributed to the revolution. In 1932, because of the needs of work, Chairman Liu was transferred to Ruijin, while He Baozhen was arranged to stay in Shanghai. He Baozhen was working in Shanghai to rescue progressives, only to be discovered by the enemy, and He Baozhen was arrested and executed by the enemy in 1934. Before the execution, the enemy threatened and seduced He Baozhen, hoping that He Baozhen would surrender. But He Baozhen was not at all moved, and in the end, the enemy lost patience with her and executed her.

Children's situation

He Baozhen and Chairman Liu have three children. All three of these children are very good characters.

He Baozhen's eldest son, Liu Yunbin, studied in the Soviet Union and graduated from the prestigious Moscow University. After completing his studies, Liu Yunbin engaged in the research and application of atomic physics in China, and became one of the youngest nuclear chemistry experts in China - for a researcher, everything can only rely on himself, from his achievements, it can be seen that Liu Yunbin did not rely on the aura of the previous generation.

The eldest daughter is Liu Aiqin. Liu Aiqin also studied in the Soviet Union and graduated from the Moscow Institute of Communication Technology. After Liu Aiqin returned to China, she engaged in the education industry and passed on the skills she learned to more people.

The second son, Liu Yunruo, graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute. After completing his studies, Liu Yunruo engaged in director research and development and became a famous missile expert.
