According to the BBC, the Comoros, which is participating in the Africa Cup of Nations, will play a knockout match with Cameroon without a registered goalkeeper.

The team's goalkeeper Salim Boina was injured in the final game of the Group C group stage, while the other goalkeepers , Ali Amada and Moyad Usseini , tested positive for covid-19.

The Africa Cup of Nations stipulates that if there are 11 healthy players on both sides, they must participate in the game. In response, the Comoros goalkeeper coach said that another player would go to the goal.

The Comoros, the first time in history, participated in the tournament, finishing third in Group C after beating Ghana 3-2, reaching the knockout stage. In the quarter-finals, the Comoros will face Cameroon.
