1905 American actress and director Judy Foster will receive the Stanley Kubrick Distinguished Filmmaker Award from the Los Angeles Division of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA LA). The award will be officially presented at this year's AMD British Academy Britannia Awards.

Judy Foster has appeared in more than 40 films so far, and as an actress, she has starred in "Taxi Driver", "Dragon Snake Bully", "Silence of the Lamb", "Time-Out Contact", "Killing", "Black Alley Girl" and other works that are impressive, including many film history classics. The Stanley Kubrick Award for Outstanding Filmmaker of Great Britain is awarded to "filmmakers who present a unique artistic personality, leave an indelible personal imprint on their work, and elevate their work to a new level of craftsmanship."
