[Lyceum Academy] Reading "Write My Heart" has a feeling

The author of the book "Write My Heart" is the American writer Natalie Lee. Goldberg. In the book, she tells us in plain language that in the matter of writing, all beings are equal—no matter where you are, what social class you come from, whether you are male or female, you can express yourself through writing.

Regarding writing, the book says: Writing is a unique human activity, a trait fixed in human DNA, it is not the prerogative of some people; each of us has life, freedom, writing, the pursuit of happiness, and the right to express ourselves in writing. Writing is a kind of record and enlightenment of what we think, feel, see, and hear. Each of us ordinary people can meet, know, and stay with ourselves on the path of writing; here there is no exclusion of eccentric, personal and peculiar ideas, only acceptance. And you only need a normal piece of paper, a pen, plus your own ideas, to solve the problem. The author also encourages people to put their thoughts and thoughts into the pen whenever they want; a sand and a world, a flower and a heaven. Start now, start writing, write to your bones.

This book is easy to understand, and there is a feeling of love when reading it. The ideas and interpretations of writing in the book have broken down my long-standing misconceptions about writing. Looking back on the past, I have had many times of my heart and desire to record my life - I want to record what I have seen and felt in life and share it with others, but in the end I have to give up because I am limited to my own inherent concepts. It feels like writing is something that is out of reach for us ordinary people; the inherent idea in the depths of our own consciousness is that only so-called celebrities and people can achieve this. Countless "small flames" that can be expected to be expressed are finally extinguished by the "cold water" of their own thoughts.

But after reading the book, I emboldened myself for the first time, because the author told us: you are okay, any of us can. Act according to your heart, "Believe in the things you love, keep doing them, and once you start to do what you want to do, you will eventually get a great sense of security deep inside."

When it comes to writing, I used to ask myself, "Can I do it too?" Now I say to myself, "I can too."
