Publisher Microids has announced that the latest installment in the classic puzzle adventure game series, The World Before, Will land on steam/EGS/GOG on March 18, 2022. A console version of the game will be available in 2022.
In this game, Dana Rhodes, a 17-year-old girl living in 1937, is about to become a pianist, but with world war II on the horizon, fascist forces named "Palm Shadow" threaten all of Europe and cast a shadow over her future; Kate Walker from 2004 is trying to survive in her trapped salt mine, but a sudden event forces her to embark on a new adventure to find her identity.
Players will embark on an adventure across different continents and eras, while playing as both Kate Walker and Dana Rhodes to solve the mystery.
