At present, the Marvel movie "Spider-Man: Homeless" invested and distributed by Sony is still being screened worldwide (except in the mainland).

Its global cumulative box office has reached 1.63 billion US dollars, temporarily ranking 8th in the cumulative box office of global film history.

If the mainland is released normally (just a little bit), it can almost reach the level of "Avengers 3".

As shown in the following figure:

Moreover, this is also a achievement in the global epidemic state.

Recently, Spider-Man: Homeless has exposed a lot of deleted shots.

For example, in the early stage photos and behind-the-scenes footage, the scene of the Dutch brother grabbing something and escaping.

Other cuts about the film will certainly continue to come to light, including some scenes that never made it into the filming phase.

As one of the supporting characters in Spider-Man: Homeless, Doctor Strange played a fairly important role in the plot.

But according to the recently exposed "Spider-Man: Homeless" abandonment concept design, at least one scene has been deleted or modified.

Sean Hargreaves shared this image on the ArtStation website:

From a distance, Dr. Strange was visibly sick and lying in his hospital bed, with Peter Parker standing in front of his bed to communicate with him.

Zoom in on the picture:

The suspension cloak can be seen sitting "straight" at the end of the bed, showing its arrogant temperament.

At the same time, the designer also shared an unpainted black and white design:

This could be another angle from Dr. Strange's bedroom, where a seemingly innocuous Doctor Strange is standing.

These designs don't provide much background information, such as when the scene occurred, or which scene it was eventually replaced by, or whether it was simply deleted from the movie.

However, judging by Peter Parker's clean and tidy image, this scene could have happened in the Holy of Holies in New York.

That means it could be another version of the scenario where Peter Parker first visited Doctor Strange for help.

Well, it shows that in the early script, Dr. Strange had a disease and couldn't even get out of bed...

Interestingly, in marvel comics, Doctor Strange has a nickname in his fan circle: Dr. Kidney Deficiency.

There are many origins of this nickname, and I will not delve into it here.

Personally, Marvel's decision to delete this scene is likely to take into account the rationality of Dr. Strange's large number of action scenes and multiple magic casts in the subsequent plot.
