Pica boys love to eat diapers and furniture and their mother is troubled

According to the British "Metropolis Daily" reported on January 20, a boy from Hull, East Yorkshire, England, suffers from a rare eating disorder, and he will eat all kinds of things that cannot be eaten, from paper and books to diapers and furniture.

The boy, William Buckley, is 4 years old and has been eating non-food stuff since he was 2 years old. William's mother, Marie Buckley, shared online the troubles her son's pica had brought to her life. She needed to get the plush toys and books out of William's room and try to distract him and suppress the urge to eat.

William is still in preschool and is awaiting to be placed at a school that suits him because he also suffers from autism spectrum disorder, overall developmental delay and sensory integration disorder.
