The right treatment of its own history is the foundation of a political party's survival

"It is advisable to look at the present and learn from the past, and there is no past that is not the present." Whether or not it can correctly treat its own history is the basis for a political party to settle down. The more comprehensive the understanding of the historical process, the more profound the grasp of historical laws, the richer the party's historical wisdom, and the more active it will be in grasping the future. If we make a mistake in our view of history, we will not only fail to attain the goal of studying party history, but will actually go in the opposite direction and fall into a misunderstanding.

Both history and reality show that a nation that has abandoned or betrayed its own history and culture is not only unlikely to develop, but is also likely to stage a historical tragedy. "To destroy the nation of man, it must first go to its history." To uphold a correct understanding of history, we must take a clear-cut stand against historical nihilism; on this issue, we must be particularly sober-minded, our eyes must be particularly bright, and our stand must be particularly firm, so that we can better get to the bottom of the source and consolidate the foundation.

The materialist view of history is the fundamental way for us Communists to understand and grasp history. Only by adhering to the materialist view of history and the correct view of party history can we profoundly understand the major achievements and historical experience of the party's century-old struggle, profoundly understand the historic achievements and historic changes in which socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, clearly see from the party's century-old struggle why we were able to succeed in the past, and understand how we can continue to succeed in the future, so as to strengthen our historical self-confidence and constantly enhance our courage and strength to march toward the future with vigor and vigor.

Since the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, we have adhered to the materialist view of history and the correct view of party history, and have cleared up the source of the historical issues of the party and the country, and achieved remarkable results.
