Regarding the doomsday films, I can think of "The Day After Tomorrow", "2012", "Snow Country Train", "Interstellar", "The Wandering Earth"...
Viruses and zombies are innumerable.

I've written a lot lately, "Don't Look Up", "The Sea of Silence", "The Eternals"...
(If there is a post-apocalyptic movie you prefer, please leave a message in the message area)
I consider myself a disaster movie lover, but recently found out that I missed a "Tsunami Miracle"
I came to this movie because I brushed up on the news of the volcanic eruption in Tonga for a few days.
Look at the satellite image of the eruption of the Tonga volcano, this is really a terrifying eruption.
The mushroom cloud formed by the volcanic eruption rushed to an altitude of 17 kilometers, which has penetrated the entire troposphere and reached the stratosphere.
To this day, the whole territory of Tonga is still in a state of external disconnection, and this state of affairs may last for two weeks before it can fully recover.
Judging by the news, this may be one of the most affected natural disasters in the past two years.
This is reminiscent of the huge natural disaster of 2004, the Indonesian tsunami.
And this "Tsunami Miracle" is based on the true story of a family in the Indonesian tsunami.
Of course, there are survivors in this family.
Otherwise there would be no script written orally.
"Tsunami Miracle" has a total investment of 30 million euros and the global box office has exceeded 1 billion yuan.
The production team transports 135 tons of water to the reservoir every day, and uses a special robotic arm to stir the water up and down the pool to keep the water turbid and tumbling.
The actors staged "drowning to survive" in such a real "tsunami".
The most surprising harvest of this movie is the Q version of the Dutch brother, I checked it, the shooting time is the end of 2010, the Dutch brother is 14 years old.
This should be his first film.
The debut performance was also recognized by the industry, winning the "Best Rising Star" award in 2012.
To this day, go through movie reviews, many of the 2013 prophets: the eldest son will be on fire.
Full of sense of traversal:
The plot of this movie is very thin, but the 14-year-old Dutch brother definitely contributed crucial acting skills.
But it is said that it supports two-thirds of the important scenes.
The other two adults are also played by acting schools.
Father Henry, played by Ivan McGregor, just won the 73rd Primetime Emmy Award for Best Actor for "Houston" last September.
At the age of 9, Ivan saw his uncle Dennis Lawson star in Star Wars and aspired to become an actor.
In 1999, Ivan finally starred in the Star Wars prequel film The Phantom Menace, playing Jedi Master Obi-Wan.
In a dry script like "Tsunami Miracle",
Ivan's performance became the first tear in the play.
Mother Maria is played by Naomi Watts, the well-known heroine of King Kong.
For "Tsunami Miracle", Naomi won the 85th Academy Award for Best Actress.
For most of the film, Naomi is either naked in the water or lying prostrate in a hospital bed.
The space that allows her to perform is very limited, but she really fills the whole play with eye expression.
The helplessness and tragedy in the face of disaster are basically interpreted by the role of the mother.
In addition, after simply laying the image of an ordinary woman whose mother is naturally timid, she shows her courage at all costs when protecting her children.
Spoilers begin below
01
On December 26, 2004, a plate change occurred on the seabed north of Sumatra, Indonesia, which was finally determined to reach a moment magnitude of 9.3, triggering a tsunami of up to 10 meters.
According to the statistics of the Ministry of Health the following year, the total number of victims has exceeded 292,000.
On December 24, Bennett's family flew to Koala, Thailand, to spend Christmas together.
The two scenes on the plane and after landing are simple and probably show us the character of a family.
Father Henry: Severe obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Not only worry about the alarm at home, but also worry about your work.
Mother Maria: Full-time housewife, caring for three children at home.
The bumps in the plane's landing scared her twice, and she was even ridiculed by her eldest son.
Three children: a little arrogant brother Lucas,
The timid second son, Thomas (seven and a half years old),
Little brother Simon (five years old).
Lucas occasionally dislikes his brother, in fact, it is quite realistic, and in reality, we can clearly see this law when we contact children.
Older children generally don't like to play with children.
The scene before the tsunami is only 13 minutes long, because the plot after that is all about surviving and finding each other.
It only tells the story of the two days from the beginning of the tsunami to the escape, so the director uses some clever details to give the audience a lot of hints.
The first detail after checking into the hotel: a can of Coke.
One of my brother's Christmas presents: a red leather ball.
On December 26, a tsunami swept through the resort.
The location of this resort is still some distance from the epicenter of the Indonesian tsunami.
But even if there are no ten-meter waves, it is enough for the audience to experience helplessness and suffocation.
Maria, who had initially surfaced, was just screaming wildly, until she saw her eldest son struggling in the current, and immediately and resolutely released the hands holding the "life-saving trunk".
After being scratched by countless tree trunks and washed-out buildings, Maria finally hugged her eldest son.
I'm sure many people have experienced this age group and worked hard to show their "adult" side to their parents.
Everything is bold, the sky is not afraid, in fact, some of them are "able to do it".
After laying the groundwork for a series of brothers' stubbornness, the director let the audience feel that children are always children.
In the face of a terrible disaster, Lucas said to his mother:
"Mom, I'm a brave child, but I'm afraid."
While waiting for the lifeguard, Maria had two huge wounds.
One was a severe fleshy valgus of the calves, and the other was a section of a branch piercing the chest.
It was so tragic that we didn't put a close-up.
Even so, Maria insisted on saving a child around her despite her son's objections.
"Even if the next wave hits us again, even if our father and brother are dead, then this is the last thing we can do."
They climbed up a large tree, which echoed the first details that preceded it, and a can of Coke became the only ration for the three of them.
This place is very interesting, the little Daniel who was rescued is very small, looking about three or four years old.
He probably had no idea what was going on.
But he already knows how to comfort the strangers who protect him in the face of this terrible thing.
After his mother was placed in a messy hospital, Lucas began to help out in the hospital.
He helps a Swedish uncle find his lost son and sees Daniel reunited with his father.
However, Maria's condition was not very good, she had lost too much blood, needed two surgeries, and was almost bloodless.

On Henry's side, after waking up near the hotel, his father was separated from everyone.
Fortunately, both Thomas and Simon were rescued.
In the face of a sudden disaster, Henry did not give up, and his first thought was to find the lost Maria and Lucas.
Even if by the end he had begun to search for the body.
Henry gave the task of caring for his little brother to Thomas, who had always seemed to be a promise.
After sending the child to a shelter at the top of the hill, Henry meets schweber, a stranger who lent him his phone.
Schwebber did not go to the beach because of a leg injury, and his wife and daughter left her a note at the head of the bed.
Henry called his father to tell him about his current situation, but hung up because of the out-of-control collapse during the call.
People around him told him he couldn't just hang up the phone, and the family on the other side was even more helpless and worried.
So Henry, who had calmed down, dialed back to his father and said, "I'll find them, I promise." ”
In most disaster films, in order to create contradictions and conflicts, the director will deliberately arrange one or two private people as obstacles.
Of course, he can't be considered a villain, just to protect himself and let innocent people pad their backs.
But there are almost no such characters in Tsunami Wonder, where strangers are united in the face of disaster.
From paramedics to patients in neighboring beds; from nearby villagers to strangers who have also lost loved ones, everyone is doing their best to help each other.
Through joint efforts, Henry is reunited with his family.
Schwebb, who encouraged and helped each other along the way, did not even ask each other's names when they separated.
At the end of the film, on the plane home, Henry pulls out a note in his pocket.
Above is the name of Schweber's missing daughter and wife, and when opened, it is the wife's last message at Schwebber's bedside.
The climax of the film is the moment when the three brothers are reunited:
Five-year-old Simon and seven-year-old Thomas ran and hugged their brother's arms.
Thomas is a coward who is scared because of the bumps in the plane, and can't sleep at night and will burrow into his mother's bed.
But he still took on the responsibility of taking good care of his brother.
Another detail of the first 13 minutes of the film that we laid out earlier – the red ball.
It also became an important clue for my father to stay in this hospital and look for it again.
The movie is called "Tsunami Miracle", and this family is indeed a miracle.
Outside the camera, there are many people who are struggling to survive and insist on seeking for separated relatives, but the miracle will not choose everyone.

In 2013, I went to Phuket with the group once.
Nearly nine years have passed, and the only thing I remember most is the tour guide's explanation of PP Island...
PP Island is very small, a speedboat can only land on the island for an hour, and when a tsunami occurs, no matter where you are on the island, there is basically no hiding.
The most shocking picture for me was that there are many stout trees on the island with countless ribbons on them.
Many people escaped by leaning on this tree and came back afterwards to pray and thank.

Recently, many people have said to me, is it too many disasters and more difficulties in two years?
My answer is that it is not very special.
Since the day the earth was formed, it has been in the midst of many disasters, earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, droughts, floods... It never stopped.
The 1976 Tangshan earthquake in China; the 1985 Mexico City earthquake; the 1990 Iran earthquake; the 1995 Hanshin earthquake in Japan; the 1999 Turkey earthquake; the 2001 Earthquake in Gujarat, India; the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake; the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake in China; the 2010 Haiti earthquake; the 2011 East Japan earthquake...
The eruption of Mount St. Helen in 1980, the eruption of Mount Druze in Nevada in 1985, the eruption of Mount Unzengaku in 1991, the eruption of Mount Pinatobo in 1991...
The 1960 Chilean tsunami; the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami; the 2010 Indonesian Sumatra tsunami...
We have never lived in a special, difficult, unsatisfactory time.
The development of human civilization has always been rebuilt again and again in these disasters.
There are not many big scenes of tsunamis in the play, and it may be a bit disappointing to watch the disaster blockbuster.
But I think the film is more about education in the face of survival, death, disaster, and growth.
"Think of beautiful things", a seemingly simple sentence, appears three times in the film.
The first time, in the seaside hotel, Thomas couldn't sleep, and his mother told him to "close his eyes and think about more beautiful things."
The second time, at the shelter at the top of the hill, it was replaced by brother Simon said he was afraid.
Thomas used the words his mother had told him, "Close your eyes and think more about happiness."
The third time, Maria was about to enter the ward for surgery, and the nurse "rest assured, close your eyes, and think about beautiful things!" 〞
At the mountaintop shelter, Thomas said he liked to look at the stars, and the old man he met said, "Some stars have burned out a long, long time ago." They are dead, but they have also shone brightly, and those rays of light have passed through the vast universe and are finally seen by our eyes. ”
By the way, the old man is played by Chaplin's daughter Geraldine Chaplin.
If you really can't come up with any profound meaning, then it's not bad to think of it as a survival movie.
Remember to pick up a diet (cola) that can store energy; remember to climb a solid tree; remember to help others as much as you expect them to help you; remember not to give up looking for lost friends and loved ones...
