Lin Jiexing's indissoluble relationship with "talents" began in 2001. In 2001, Fujian Television Station launched a TV program of "Time Talents", and Lin Jiexing, who graduated in 1999 and joined the company, was the person in charge of this program, and it was from this that he had the idea of doing education. Two years later, he owned the first human resources company named after the column, Fujian Times Talent Service Company. Another year later, the Minjiang Vocational and Technical School was established, and it was July 2004, a day that he would remember for the rest of his life.
"Early vocational education had a very low social status and could hardly recruit students." Recalling the difficulty of walking, Lin Jiexing's face showed pain, as if these things happened yesterday. "Every day, we walk the streets and alleys, go from village to village to find a source of students. Without students, it is like cooking without rice, and education is impossible to talk about. "At a time of difficulty, Lin Jiexing saw a good opportunity - the Fujian counterpart assistance Ningxia support project that has just been launched for a few years. With the mentality of trying, Lin Jiexing embarked on the road to Ningxia to enroll, hoping to borrow the east wind of Minning cooperation, but at that time, no one was sure that he could really recruit people.
"You can't even imagine what I saw at that time, the gap was huge, there was no green in the eyes, no grass, no trees, only dust in the sky, gray sky. This is my first time in Ningxia, the first time I have seen the hardships of the local environment..." Lin Jiexing said that it is precisely because of this scene that he has strengthened his determination to do education, no matter how difficult the road ahead is, he must persist. Because only by getting an education can the children here get out of poverty and live the life they want.
"Look at these red-faced faces... This is the 479 people who were picked up at Xiamen Railway Station in March 2006. At that time, the students came from carriage to car, and the teacher who led the team was afraid of dispersing, and he also specially issued hats to the children to recognize people..." Lin Jiexing took us into an exhibition hall, which showed the education and poverty alleviation work he did in Ningxia in his early years. "The children recruited from Ningxia are diligent and hardworking, and they are particularly down-to-earth."
At that time, labor export was an important pillar industry in Ningxia, and Lin Jiexing established east-west cooperation through enrollment, which not only solved the problem of student source, but also alleviated the shortage of labor in Fuqing enterprises, and let the students have a foothold in employment after graduation in the way of "school-enterprise cooperation".
Over the years, Minjiang Vocational and Technical School has cooperated with labor security departments and vocational colleges at all levels in Gansu, Ningxia, Sichuan and other levels to establish long-term and stable cooperative relations. In addition, in order to meet the needs of enterprises to continuously improve their vocational capabilities, Minjiang Vocational and Technical School has expanded the re-education curriculum for industrial workers, and has directly passed personnel training and vocational skills training to enterprises.

Minjiang Vocational School is getting better and better, but another big problem that Makes Lin Jiexing remember is beginning to become more and more prominent, that is, they do not have independent school buildings. After the "school-enterprise cooperation" with Fuqing Guanjie Electronics, it has been renting the company's premises as a school, and the students recruited from Ningxia are also placed here. In December 2009, the Fuqing Municipal Government approved 100 mu of educational land to support the Construction of "Manpower Reservoir" for employment enterprises in Fuqing City by Minjiang Vocational and Technical School. In February 2018, the construction of the Fuqing Campus of Minjiang Vocational and Technical School began, and in October 2018, the first phase of the project was completed.
"Thanks to the Fuqing government's concern for our vocational education work, we finally have a stable home." Speaking of this, Lin Jiexing breathed a sigh of relief, he has planned a blueprint for the future, this new campus will be developed in a combination of cultivating art students and vocational skills, to build more platforms for students. "Some buildings are still under construction, and after the Spring Festival, they will continue to be renovated, and they will be put into use on July 1 next year." The campus, which is expected to accommodate nearly 6,000 people, is expected in the future.
Lin Jiexing's career is longer than Fuqing, rooted in Fuqing, but also benefited from Fuqing, its open integration, its hard work and competition, are all integrated in the bones and blood of Minjiang Vocational and Technical School.
At the same time, Minjiang Vocational School also cooperates with Vocational Colleges such as Fuzhou Second Technician College to establish a "Vocational Skills Improvement Center" in Fuqing Rongqiao Economic and Technological Development Zone, and strives to provide fuqing targeted training and deliver more than 5,000 industrial workers every year, provide support for the high-quality development of the park, and create a demonstration benchmark for skills training in Fuqing City and even in Fujian Province.
"I'm in a good industry, and I love to do it myself. It is a very fortunate thing that people can meet a career that they love in their lifetime. Lin Jiexing said. Especially under the adjustment of policies in recent years, the spring of vocational education has gradually arrived, and with the experience of supporting Ningxia before, Lin Jiexing also wants to open schools to Yunnan and open to more places in the future.

Lin Jiexing admits that in the eyes of most people, students in vocational schools have bad learning habits, and even have extreme behaviors. "But what we do education is more important to have a pair of eyes that are good at discovery." We encourage teachers to explore the merits of each child, prepare 2,000 award certificates every year to recognize students, send cakes and noodles on birthdays, and customize exclusive thermos cups for each child... In my eyes, every child is equally excellent and is a talent that society needs. ”
In Lin Jiexing's view, after three or five years of vocational education, many children can not only have a skill, but also can be greatly improved in humanistic literacy, and these changes are not only to change a person's life path, but also to change the fate of a family.
"It is better to teach them to fish than to teach them to fish, vocational education does exactly this, it is connected to the school, the other is connected to the industry, a student to achieve stable employment, you can drive a family out of poverty, this is the meaning of education poverty alleviation."
On December 26, the first session of the 18th People's Congress of Fuqing City and the first session of the 15th CPPCC Municipal Committee were grandly opened. At the meeting, Lin Jiexing put forward two suggestions in response to the problem of lack of labor in enterprises that the Fuqing Municipal Government is concerned about: First, it is recommended that the Fuqing Municipal Government take the lead in establishing a "manpower reservoir" for Fuqing employment enterprises, and that key enterprises and vocational colleges "pair up" to give full play to the role of vocational colleges in transporting and transferring enterprise labor; second, it is recommended that the Fuqing Municipal Government establish a "friendly county and city" relationship with poor counties and cities in the western region to strengthen intellectual assistance.
The report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that it is necessary to "improve the vocational education and training system, deepen the integration of industry and education, and school-enterprise cooperation."
