Sony Interactive Entertainment President Shuhei Yoshida today posted the Steam Deck handheld playing "God of War 4" screen today, causing concern, players shouted whether to launch PSV2.
A recent analysis by Gaming on Linux noted that God of War 4's use of NVIDIA's GPUs could have some serious stuttering, as it is common for dense graphics games developed for Windows and Proton to take time to build shader caches. It's unclear if these issues will arise on steam deck, but it's worth noting that Steam Deck uses a custom AMD RDNA2 GPU, not Nvidia's.
• V-Club confirmed last week that the Steam Deck will go on sale on time in February 2022, and it is clear that the current performance of the Steam Deck seems to be satisfactory to Shuhei Yoshida, but the PSV2 is still a distant fantasy.
