This week, in the upcoming Game Pass game announced by Microsoft, there is a game that publisher Bandai Namco has not yet announced. It will be available in the service immediately after its release on January 27, the first product to come to Microsoft platforms in Bandai Namco's long-running game series.

Since the arcade release of the original Taiko Drum Master in 2001, Bandai Namco's Taiko Rhythm Game series has spawned dozens of titles on various PlayStation, Nintendo, and mobile platforms, yet the cute character WadaDon and twin brother Wada Katsu have never debuted on Xbox or PC until now.

The official release of Taiko Drum Master: Drum Master comes from Microsoft's latest Game Pass release list, Bandai Namco Asia's website, and Bandai Namco Europe's Twitter, the new game for Xbox/PC platforms will have about 70 songs, a two-player local multiplayer game, and an online chart feature.

So far, Bandai Namco hasn't said anything about releasing a taiko game manipulation device for Xbox. However, it is compatible with the 2018 PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions (so far mainly for browser games).

Even though the game is coming out in a week, Taiko's Xbox/PC store page has yet to appear on Bandai Namco's website, Steam (where all of the company's PC games are sold), or the Microsoft Store.
