The 2021 Autumn Sun Dream College Basic Education Personalized Tutoring Program has been successfully completed!
First of all, let us dedicate the warmest applause to the Zhimei Foundation that provides technical support, as well as the main teaching teams: Fudan University Ebuddy Team, Tianmei Chinese Painting Institute Deyuan Youth Volunteer Service Team, Tianshang Purple Dandelion Team and Central China Normal Inclusive Education Team. Thank you to the volunteer teachers for their selfless dedication and bringing learning opportunities to the students!
There were 30 students benefiting from this counseling, each student received 30+ tutoring hours, and more than 100 volunteer teachers and supervisors participated in the university! From autumn to winter, the company of volunteer teachers made dream academies and students feel a different kind of warmth this winter.
Shanghai Zhimei Foundation - focusing on remote rural volunteer education public welfare activities.
Fudan Ebuddy team: Long-term support for the dream college special population basic education, has carried out small classrooms in the ward through remote.
Tianmei Deyuan Team: Supported the basic education of special groups in Dream College for three consecutive terms, with a total of more than 200 volunteers involved in supporting them.
Central China Normal University Inclusive Team: Focus on special education public welfare.
Tianshang Zipu Team: Participated in the Basic Education Counseling Program to Support the Dream of the Sun for three consecutive terms.
To say that the most special point of this basic counseling is the joining of the Central China Normal Education Team. As a professional special children's education team, the Inclusive team has cooperated with Dream Academy for the first time this year. For the first time, dream college tried to join the role of counselor, and the students of Hua Normal University used their professional psychological knowledge to assist students and volunteer teachers to communicate and resolve emotions.
As a bold attempt, there are many unexpected innovations, and there are many unknown challenges, and we need to continue to optimize the coaching program in the future.
Dream Academy students are usually out/out of school due to illness. Perhaps volunteer teachers and counselors are the only places where students can connect with the outside world and learn knowledge. Volunteer teachers may only take time out of their free time to tutor students, but for students, having the company of a teacher is the most precious gift!
Tiande Deyuan team Li Yinghan:
I think that participating in the volunteer activities of Sun Language gives me a very positive feeling, which can help these children learn new knowledge, feel the joy of knowledge, and experience the sense of achievement brought by education. In education, constantly exercise their abilities and enhance their self-worth.
Central China Normal Inclusive Team Liang Xiaojun:
In this activity, I came into contact with classmates from other schools and special children, which broadened my horizons. And from it, I have exercised my communication and communication skills, as well as my time management skills.
Tianshang Zipu team Hu Tingting:
I feel that this activity is very meaningful, whether it is for the recipients or volunteers, it will become a memorable memory, both sides can learn a lot from it, as far as I am concerned, I am deeply infected by the optimistic and cheerful attitude of the children, which also allows me to face difficulties in the future life and study.
Fudan EBUDDY team Fang Jiawen:
In the fall of 2021, participating in the Zhimei project and meeting like-minded volunteers to help students improve their academic performance has indeed become a beautiful scene in my memory. The student I met, Liu Zhu, was a patient with a rare disease, but he always treated people with a warm and tenacious personality. The careful confirmation before each class, the meticulous completion of homework, and the absorption of knowledge made me see the sparkle of this little boy. When I saw him send me a WeChat message saying "thank you", the feeling of warm current in my heart was transmitted through the network, which made me understand the meaning of volunteer work more deeply.
After the completion of the tutoring, many students have become good friends with the volunteer little brothers and sisters! Send each other blessings during the festival, and give each other small gifts!
"I am very happy to see that our volunteers are cultivating a self-learning habit and ability of our friends, and compared to the students' very long-term growth path, the time spent with our volunteers is particularly limited." Therefore, each of our volunteers has also been thinking about how to let students see things other than knowledge in a shorter period of time, and at the same time harvest knowledge, they can also get more gains.
In the porcelain dolls, we all feel a lot of strength, and in the process of getting along with the students, each volunteer really got a lot of inspiration, touch and energy. In the process of communicating with other volunteers, they have always mentioned that there is a particularly precious thing that I see in the porcelain dolls, that is, the friends really have a very pure love and cherish for knowledge!
I hope to do our volunteers' efforts to let more college students around us see that there is a greater demand behind these students like our Dream Academy, and hope that through our strength, more people can take action, participate in public welfare, and warm more people! ”

The Ebuddy team joined the Dream Academy volunteer teaching activities as early as 2018, and at present, Ibuddy has initially established a special education supervision system in the exploration, and the new volunteers can quickly enter the state under the guidance of the previous volunteers.
I believe that the volunteers of each team are like this, contributing their spare time, just to help more partners in need.
