As NATO allies of the United States, Estonia and Lithuania have been buying Javelin anti-tank missiles from the United States, and this support for Ukraine is not only to cater to the UNITED proposition, but more importantly, to hope that NATO will protect its own security and reinforce the troops stationed in these countries.
Of course, the arms shipments of these countries also have a lot to do with the fact that Ukraine has been "begging everywhere". However, as nato members, some countries are not fooled by this.
On January 17, local time, when some media asked German Foreign Minister Berberk whether he would provide weapons to Ukraine, the foreign minister gave a negative answer, her reason is that the military upgrade will not bring more security to Ukraine. The German Foreign Minister's statement, made during a visit to Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, is rather unusual.
Although the new foreign minister has previously said she will distance herself from Merkel's policies, the two governments have tacitly agreed on Ukraine. Germany's position on arms exports has been consistent, helping Ukraine build mobile hospitals to prevent the crisis from escalating further, rather than fanning the flames.

And before the German foreign minister's visit to Ukraine, the Ukrainian ambassador to Germany had made it clear that Germany would provide weapons to the country to deal with Russia's "war threat", only then would Ukraine recognize Germany as a "real friend".

While small Baltic states such as Britain and small Baltic states are following in the footsteps of the United States in supporting Ukraine, EU mainstays like Germany do not want to be completely controlled by the United States. It shows that within the small group of NATO, the attitude of countries towards Ukraine is not monolithic, but shows a considerable degree of division, and as the relations between Ukraine and Russia and the United States and Russia are tense, Europe may usher in huge risks.
