Xingtang police arrested a fugitive community prisoner

Since the launch of the Golden Shield Storm "Circle Horse" special operation to pursue escape, the Xingtang County Public Security Bureau has given full play to its functions and roles, carried out a comprehensive crackdown on online fugitives, and made every effort to eliminate hidden dangers in society. In the early morning of January 18, the Longzhou Squadron of the Criminal Investigation Brigade of the Xingtang County Public Security Bureau arrested a fugitive community prisoner in a dormitory at a construction site in Nanjing.

Recently, the Xingtang police have carefully sorted out the national information database of fugitives, especially for the local Internet fugitives over the years. In the process of combing and judging, it was found that the online fugitive Liu Mouzhu (male, 31 years old, from Xingtang County) appeared in the Nanjing area. The criminal investigation brigade quickly organized elite police forces to set off at night, trekked thousands of miles, rushed to Nanjing, and successfully arrested Liu Mouzhu with the assistance of the local public security bureau. After interrogation, criminal suspect Liu Mouzhu confessed to the crime of escaping during the community corrections period by the Xingtang County People's Court in August 2018 and sentenced to 3 years in prison with a 5-year suspended sentence for committing intentional injury.

At present, the criminal suspect has been transferred to the relevant units for handling, and the case is being further investigated.
