On January 11, Li Lei, chief engineer of the Cyberspace Administration of the Tianjin Municipal Party Committee, received the task of building an information platform for the second round of nucleic acid screening in Tianjin, which will start at 12:00 noon on January 12, and the requirements of the municipal party committee and municipal government for the new platform are "few operations for the people, orderly and continuous file", and must be completed within 24 hours.
After receiving the task, Li Lei quickly set up a research team of 30 or 40 people, and in view of the fact that it takes at least 10 days to build a new similar platform, the technical team decided to choose a relatively mature system to transform and upgrade. The new system no longer needs citizens to scan the code to enter information, but instead the staff scans the resident IDENTITY card of the person being tested, from "you sweep me" to "I sweep you", this small change is the trick to speed up. Li Lei told reporters, "More than 10 million people poured into the platform at the same time, our server can also be loaded, but if the user level is reduced, it will be more secure, so we changed the scan code of more than 10 million citizens to more than 64,000 staff scan certificates, so that we can also arrange the arrival time of the collected personnel in a more orderly manner and shorten the waiting time of the citizens." ”

"At present, the OCR (optical character recognition) technology used by the system to collect information, there are still some unavoidable error probabilities, of which the Chinese character recognition error is about 3%, the number recognition error is less than 1%, the previous query uses the two-factor authentication of the name + ID number, the two information are matched, in order to find the test results, the new function uses single-factor authentication, as long as the ID number is entered, you can find the latest nucleic acid detection time and nucleic acid detection point, these participating information can indirectly prove the safety of the inquirer. If the ID number is also scanned incorrectly, we still have a manual channel to solve the problem completely. ”
Before the start of the four screenings, the technical team developed a new function of retrieving missed people with data, which was inspired by Li Lei's sinking community experience, "I saw that when the community staff investigated the new crown vaccination situation, they could only ask the residents one by one, which was inefficient and the workload was too large."
