The Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of demonstration units of green manufacturing system in Hunan Province in 2021, with 64 green factories, 11 green parks, and 18 green design products on the list.

Under the current requirements of the double carbon target, a "green revolution" is being set off in Hunan. From January to October last year, the energy consumption of the province's unit-scale industrial added value fell by 4.6%, exceeding the target task of 3% decline for the whole year ahead of schedule.

The green manufacturing system has initially taken shape

Broad leads the international level in the field of building energy efficiency. In July last year, the world's first 100% factory-produced prefabricated building, Yuanda Living Building, was released, causing an industry sensation. Through the establishment of a green factory management system, Broad realizes the greening of the whole process of design, procurement, production, sales, use, and waste disposal.

Such enterprises are not uncommon in Hunan. In December last year, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of green manufacturing in 2021, and 25 state-level green factories, 3 green parks, 2 green supply chain enterprises, and 42 green design products in our province were listed, ranking second in the number of rated six central provinces. So far, the province has created 100 national-level green factories, 10 national-level green parks, 8 national-level green supply chain enterprises, and developed 83 national green design products.

"The green manufacturing system has initially taken shape." Jiang Ningfei, director of the Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization Division of the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, introduced that the green manufacturing system is composed of green factories, green parks, green supply chain enterprises and green design products, which is the core content of industrial green development.

In the construction of a green manufacturing system, Hunan has created a number of national precedents. Our province is the first province in the country to carry out the evaluation of provincial green design products, and it is also the only province in the country to include green design products in the government procurement first purchase directory. It is understood that at present, enterprises have purchased more than 60 million yuan of green design products through government procurement platforms.

The "Green Revolution" leads to high-quality development

As a chemical enterprise that produces coatings and resins, Hunan Xiangjiang Paint Group Co., Ltd. breaks the stereotype of people "talking about discoloration". The factory area is green and grassy, the workshop is clean and tidy, and the smell of paint cannot be smelled. After years of green upgrading and transformation, the company's market competitiveness has been greatly improved, and it has successfully ranked among the top 30 paints in the world.

On November 26 last year, Zoomlion released the industry's first domestic carbon fiber boom pump truck, with a maximum cloth height of 63 meters, which is the world's longest boom pump truck of the same tonnage. Compared with high-strength steel booms, carbon fiber booms are 35% lighter and the whole machine loses 3 tons, providing a transformative approach for construction machinery to reduce weight and reduce carbon emissions.

Efficient, clean, low-carbon, circular new industrialization road has become an inevitable choice for the high-quality development of various industries, and Hunan has pressed the fast-forward button of industrial transformation and upgrading.

A number of key common technologies of green manufacturing have been industrialized and applied, driving the green upgrading of traditional industries. In the first three quarters of 2021, the energy consumption of cement clinker production enterprises in the province fell by 5.91% year-on-year, and the comprehensive energy consumption of the output value of 10,000 yuan fell by 4.47% year-on-year; the comprehensive energy consumption of the output value of steel smelting and processing enterprises fell by 25.37% year-on-year.

Eliminate backward production capacity and promote the acceleration of the conversion of new and old kinetic energy. Last year, our province completed the closure and withdrawal of 31 enterprises and the relocation and acceptance of 3 enterprises, reducing the comprehensive energy consumption by 300,000 tons of standard coal/ year and reducing CO2 emissions by 700,000 tons / year.

More and more enterprises regard green development as the basis for enhancing their core competitiveness. According to the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, 221 enterprises will carry out voluntary cleaner production audits in 2021, and the concept of green manufacturing will be deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. Green has become a bright background color for the industrial development of our province.
