Naïve Katya

By chance, she impersonated the professor's daughter, met radio photographer Rachkov, and fell in love with them. Katya could not resist Rachkov's temptation and committed herself to him. However, not all romances are as beautiful as in fairy tales, and when Ratchkov learns the truth, the powerful man ruthlessly expresses his desire to break up, even though he knows that Katya is pregnant. The strong heroine gives birth to a daughter and raises her alone.

Since then, her daughter Della has become her hope and comfort, giving her the courage and strength to live. Friendship has been warming her during her toughest times, with girlfriends Lyudmila and Maria and her husband Nikolai helping to take care of her daughter. Katya, who reached middle age, became famous and became the director of the factory. Originally like a stopping water, she inadvertently met Vasha and harvested a belated love, although there were several ups and downs, but in the end, she formed a happy family of three with Vasha.

Life was cruel, and a big city like Moscow was too big for Katya and her two friends. Full of opportunities and full of crises, those dazzling wealth and prosperity are the mirages that they , a few small female workers — can look forward to and can't get away with... Maria, the painter, is the kind of girl with traditional ideas, who has found an honest man who is also a worker as a boyfriend, and the baker Lyudmila has a warm and open personality, but she has vanity, wants to use her beauty to make a "jackpot" in Moscow, to achieve a life of pampering, she envies the life of high society, and loves to make friends with celebrities. Katya is an innocent and intelligent girl with illusions about love who wants to get what she wants by her own efforts and is eager to be educated. Three girls with very different personalities are up and down in Moscow, many years later, Maria is still living comfortably with her husband, while Lyudmila is divorced from her husband and still hopes to win a new "lottery", Katya through her own efforts to love career double harvest... She was the unluckiest one at the time, but now she had everything she wanted.

Katya ended up happy

The plot of the film begins in the 50s of the last century and ends in the 70s, the film compares the two eras, focuses on the fate of middle-aged people, depicts the psychological state of this generation, and involves many issues of common concern to the audience, such as morality, happiness, the value of life and so on.

Of course, it is also a film about a growing Russia, when Moscow was still under construction, and it moved forward slowly and firmly with sadness and tenderness. In this film we can see a small microcosm of Russian society at that time, which is really a different experience for me, and in the delicate and true expression of the film, I have rarely touched the Russian film, breaking my own inherent impression of Russia - calm and subtle - what I see is their enthusiasm and openness, the courage to pursue their own happiness. And all this is also bringing hope to a new Russia – like a glimpse of sunshine in the darkness.

Remember the final credits, when Vasha returns. In the darkness of the Night in Moscow, the family of three sat at the dinner table, and Katya looked at her lover affectionately: "How long have I been looking for you?" Vasha was drinking hot soup, and Katya's words had obviously touched his nerves, but he remained silent and replied faintly, "Eight days."

Searching, searching, perhaps taking half her life, but in the end she found, hope, hope, just as the fire of hope never extinguished. No matter what kind of difficulties can not hinder a strong heart, that is a celebration of hope.

And that's enough.

Moscow does not believe in tears, it believes in hope and strength.
