In 1927, a geological exploration plane flew high above the Nazca Plain. To be able to better view the detailed terrain, geologists on the plane repeatedly ordered the pilot to lower the altitude.
But when the plane's altitude dropped, the geologist was immediately startled by what he saw. Because on the slope of a hill diagonally in front of them, a huge humanoid pattern was waving at the people on the plane. After seeing this, the geologists quickly pointed to the mountain and signaled the pilot of the plane to fly in that direction.
It was such a flight that added another puzzle to human history that continues to this day, that is, the famous Nazca lines.
After a brief shock, the geologist immediately took a picture of the linear drawings on the Nazca Plain with a camera in his hand. It is precisely because of these photos that Peru, a small country in South America, immediately attracted the attention of Western countries.
In a very short time, the Nazca Plain has brought together a large number of geologists from all over the world. In order to explore the reasons for the emergence of these lines, experts from various countries put aside the prejudice between countries and jointly launched an exploration of the Nasker lines.
The first to conjecture the Nazca line problem was the geologist who discovered the Nazca line. He believes that these giant paintings did not come from Earth, but traces left by aliens when they visited Earth in ancient times. As soon as this view was put forward, it aroused repercussions in the international community in a short period of time. Don't look at the time it was only the twenties, but for the study of aliens, countries have been put on the agenda.
So when the geologist came up with this idea, it was immediately recognized by most people. Without him, because the size of these paintings is too large.

After discovering this problem, several geologists regrettably overturned the previous theory of alien spacecraft landing. After that, after several rounds of conjectures and counter-conjectures, a conjecture that has survived to this day was raised.
This conjecture is the "water source theory" that is widely recognized in the international community today.
Due to the perennial drought on the Nazca Plain, people living around the Nazca Plain can only live by extracting groundwater. And this is why some people will put forward the "water source theory".
By chance, a geologist discovered that these above-ground "runways" fit well with traces of underground river movements beneath the plains. After several explorations, geologists can basically nail down conjectures in this direction.
Having figured out why the "runway" appeared, what about these animal motifs scattered around the "runway"? You know, this is not a two-pattern, but a dozen, dozens of different patterns. Such a large pattern, can not always appear out of thin air, right?
In order to figure out the origin of these patterns, geologists combined the conjecture that the "runway" was trace of the movement of the underground river and turned their attention to the surrounding villages.
Sure enough, the items found in the village confirmed the conjecture in their minds. Because these seemingly large patterns are the totems that have been handed down from various villages for a long time.
But what if you figure out what the lines represent? It is not clear how these giant paintings were drawn, and the mystery cannot be fully explained. Some people say that the ancients built the pyramids and then drew these huge paintings under the guidance of the pyramids. But as mentioned earlier, the Nazca Plain is soft and surrounded by wasteland, and it simply does not have the landforms and materials needed to build the pyramids, so how can it be drawn by this method?
I have to say that the wisdom and means of the ancients are really not inferior to our modern people. Because whether this Nazca line is a trace left by an alien spacecraft or not, this almost magical drawing method of the ancients is still unimaginable to us living in today's world.
