Guangzhou, January 19 (China News Network) (Cai Minjie, Shen Gao) Guangdong Provincial Transportation Group's Maozhan Expressway Reconstruction and Expansion Project released the news on the 19th, maozhan expressway Guanzhu to Maoming interchange reconstruction and expansion section opened a two-way eight-lane trial passage.

The Maozhan High-speed Reconstruction and Expansion Project starts from Guanzhu in Dianbai District, Maoming City, and ends in Gaoyang, Mazhang District, Zhanjiang City, with a total length of 108.59 kilometers, using a two-way 8-lane highway standard to renovate and expand, with a design speed of 120 km / h. Among them, the Guanzhu to Maoming interchange section has a total length of 20.3 kilometers, which is changed from two-way four-lane to two-way eight-lane, connecting the Yangmao Expressway that has been remodeled and expanded, and the traffic flow is the most dense in the entire section of the project.

In order to improve the efficiency of the Spring Festival passage of the Guangzhan Expressway, the project first built the Guanzhu to Maoming interchange section. On the occasion of the Spring Festival, the two-way eight-lane trial operation of the Guanzhu to Maoming interchange section, during the peak period of traffic flow, vehicles can be diverted to Baomao, Shanzhan and other highways through the Dachangkou interchange, and diverted to Maoming urban area through the Forest Head and Maoming interchange, and the road traffic capacity will be greatly improved, providing a safe and smooth traffic environment for the masses.

In the construction process, the project applies new technologies, new processes, new materials, new equipment, implements refined construction management, and creates quality projects that are both internal and external.

"Through scientific research and innovation, the project promotes the use of the new material of 'disturbance-resistant concrete', which can resist large vibrations in the early stage of construction, and solves the situation that traffic needs to be interrupted during the construction of new and old bridge splicing." Chen Zhijiang, head of the Maozhan high-speed reconstruction and expansion project, introduced. The reconstruction and expansion project faces the reality of construction and opening to traffic at the same time, and the splicing of new and old bridges is a major difficulty in the reconstruction and expansion project. The use of ordinary concrete for the construction of new and old bridge splicing needs to be carried out in the case of interrupting road traffic, so as to prevent traffic disturbances from affecting the quality of the splicing and reducing the service life of the bridge. The pouring of "disturbance-resistant concrete" can be carried out while opening to traffic, which not only ensures the smooth passage of drivers and passengers, but also ensures the durability of the bridge structure.
