Procter & Gamble: Price increases will continue throughout the year, with profitability expected to rise in the coming quarters

Procter & Gamble reportedly said sales rose 6 percent year-over-year in the fiscal quarter ended Dec. 31, in part due to the company's biggest average price increase since the spring of 2019. Procter & Gamble executives said Wednesday that price increases will continue throughout 2022, and while global supply chain issues continue to drive up labor, freight and raw material costs, the company forecasts higher profitability and margins in the coming fiscal quarters.
