Countdown to traffic! Huai'an this "net red bridge" full bridge through!

On January 19, with the completion of the hoisting of the last piece of box girder, the main construction of the Baima Lake Bridge undertaken by Huai'an Cultural Tourism Group (Baima Lake Investment and Development Co., Ltd.) and Jiangsu Provincial Traffic Engineering Group Co., Ltd. was completed, and the whole bridge was completed, and it is expected that the whole line will be opened to traffic in June this year.

It is understood that Baima Lake Avenue is a key project to improve the transportation infrastructure of Baima Lake Scenic Area. The total length of the main road is 24.263 kilometers, and the project mainly includes the construction of 17 bridges and subgrade pavement, safety facilities, street lights, road greening, etc., with a total investment of 1.038 billion yuan. Among them, the White Horse Lake Bridge is a key node project, with a total length of 1033 meters, a total width of 37 meters, the structure adopts a space special-shaped beam arch combination system, the main girder is a steel box girder, the large arch tower is a space special-shaped cable structure, the total height above the pile is 56.342 meters, the small arch tower is a single-sided cable structure, and the total height above the pile is 38.643 meters.

After completion, the Baima Lake Bridge will simultaneously connect the core area of the northern tourist resort area of the Baima Lake area and the core area of the southern Baima Lake National Wetland Park and the sunflower story scenic spot, and together with the White Horse Lake Avenue, constitute an important transportation hub of the Baima Lake Scenic Area, gradually form a "20-minute tourist traffic circle" in the scenic spot, and accelerate the realization of the goal of integrating the Baima Lake Scenic Area into the 2-hour economic circle of the Yangtze River Delta.

The design of this bridge is inspired by the "Fish Leaping Dragon Gate" in the "Xin's Three Qins", and the three-dimensional curved "Double Fish" arch bridge corresponds to the popular attraction "The Adventure of The Three Islands". This big and small "white Pisces" jumped out of the lake. After the completion of the unique white horse lake bridge, it will become another "net red" landscape in the scenic spot, and will also become a new landmark in Huai'an.
