Misplaced development avoids industrial similarities

author:Bright Net

The countryside must be revitalized, and the industry must be revitalized. When the author recently investigated some areas in Guangdong, he noticed that whether it is in the villages with relatively backward economic development in the northeast and west of Guangdong, or in some of the richer villages of the Pearl River Delta Economic Belt, the idea of accelerating the revitalization of rural industries in some places lacks innovation, resulting in similar industrial forms and high degree of overlap in projects.

To revitalize rural industries, it is necessary to proceed from reality, adapt measures to local conditions, and give full play to local resource advantages. However, it is worth noting that the rural landscapes in many areas are connected, the environment is similar, the natural endowments are relatively similar, and the target markets are also highly overlapping. In the process of going on a project, it seems that everyone is trying to play to their comparative advantages, but in fact, it may be a duplicate construction with similarities.

At present, the "industry" aimed at in most villages is nothing more than around rural tourism, mainly serving the leisure and sightseeing agriculture, homestays, summer camps, farmhouses, and agricultural comprehensive experience areas that serve the leisure and vacation of urban people. This has led to some rural tourism and leisure industries with large investments facing homogeneous competition.

Although rural tourism plays an important role in the revitalization of rural industries, a large number of similar projects compete for the market, which will form internal friction. Most of the large investment in rural tourism, leisure, research and study bases, as well as sightseeing and experience agriculture projects, are market-oriented industries with capital going to the countryside, and once they cannot be operated, they will not only cause waste of land and other resources, but also cause direct damage to the interests of villagers.

One of the reasons for the above phenomenon is that these places have shown a tendency to non-agricultural in promoting the revitalization of rural industries. Although many places have proposed the integrated development of the first, second, and third industries, because the development of the secondary industry is relatively difficult, it is more important to accelerate the development of non-agricultural industries.

At present, the basic industry in the countryside is still agriculture. As far as the vast rural areas are concerned, it is necessary to persist in establishing agriculture as farmers. Relying on agricultural and rural resources, we will develop rural industries with obvious advantages and distinctive characteristics. Whether it is to protect the red line of cultivated land or to ensure national food security, the primary choice for revitalizing rural areas is to revitalize industries based on high-quality agricultural development. Industrial revitalization is by no means a large-scale rural industry, let alone the development of township and town enterprises in the villages and villages, but the development of green industries such as the deep processing of agricultural and sideline products, leaving such industries in the countryside, and leaving more employment and entrepreneurship opportunities and value-added benefits of the industrial chain to the peasants. However, at present, some rural industrial structures are single, the support is weak, the lack of secondary and tertiary industries to drive and develop vitality, and it is difficult to form and attract leading enterprises, this situation needs to be changed urgently.

Rural industries are rich in connotation and diverse in types, agricultural product processing industry enhances agricultural value, rural characteristic industries broaden industrial categories, leisure agriculture expands agricultural functions, and rural new service industries enrich the types of business forms, which is an industry that enhances agriculture, prospers rural areas, and rich farmers. In the process of promoting rural revitalization in various places, we are more looking forward to the emergence of more new industries and new formats with characteristic and dislocation development.
