The National Museum of China held mei Lanfang's art life exhibition

International Online Report (Reporter Chen Yujuan): On January 20, 2022, "Mei Lanfanghua - Mei Lanfang Art Life Exhibition" was exhibited at the National Museum of China. The exhibition is based on the precious cultural relics related to Mei Lanfang's artistic life, and uses a panoramic mirror to show Mei Lanfang's artistic creation in different historical periods.

Nearly 400 objects (sets) and nearly 600 pictures are exhibited in this exhibition, all of which are precious cultural relics and documents related to Mei Lanfang's artistic life, and include collections that have not been published for a long time. The exhibition includes eight units: "Qunying Spectrum Jingyun", "Mei Xiu Out of the Family", "Mei Zhan Hundred Flowers Kui", "Mei Xin YuXuan", "Mei Xiang Chuan Wanli", "Plum Bone Proud Wind and Snow", "Plum Newspaper All Things Spring", "Mei Yun Exhibition New Sound".

Mei Lanfang was born in Taizhou, Jiangsu Province in 1894 in Beijing. He is a well-known cultural messenger of the people of the world and an outstanding Peking Opera performance artist of the 20th century in China. In 1917, Mei Lanfang was named the "King of the Drama Industry". After the founding of New China, Mei Lanfang was known as the "People's Artist", and in 2019, nearly 60 years after her death, she was still awarded the glorious title of "The Most Beautiful Strivers". This exhibition is a perfect interpretation of Mei Lanfang's noble character.
