Gong Zheng: Accelerate the construction of the "one city and one hub" of the five new cities, the Nanhui Branch Line of the Rail Transit, the Jiamin Line, and the Western Extension of Line 13

The Sixth Session of the 15th Shanghai Municipal People's Congress opened this morning at the World Expo Center. Shanghai Mayor Gong Zheng made a "Government Work Report".

When talking about the five new cities, Gong Zheng said that this year will build a comprehensive transportation system for the new city, accelerate the construction of "one city and one hub", and create a multi-level transportation network that connects inside and outside and integrates the station city. Strengthen the convenient connection between the new city and the cities in the Yangtze River Delta, the near-Shanghai hub and adjacent new cities, and accelerate the construction of the Shanghai section of the Shanghai-Suzhou Lake Railway and the Nanhui Branch Line, Jiamin Line, and the Western Extension of Line 13. Improve the internal public transportation system of the new city, and orderly promote the landing of projects such as the backbone public transportation system and intelligent transportation in the middle volume.
