Cao Hua said that the current post allowance standard for sanitation workers is still based on the "Notice on Adjusting the Post Allowance Standards for Urban Sewer Workers and Environmental Sanitation Workers" (Renfa 1997] No. 113), which is implemented at 3 yuan, 4 yuan and 5 yuan per person per day. The basis of the document implemented has been 25 years and is seriously inconsistent with the current level of economic development. "It is recommended to stand at the height of stabilizing the team of sanitation workers and sharing the fruits of reform, focusing on the current situation of sanitation workers working long hours, high labor intensity, long-term exposure to garbage, feces, toxic and harmful substances, and adjust the post allowance of sanitation workers accordingly." Cao Hua said.
