Commemorative stamps of the "Moscow Conference of Ministers of Posts and Telecommunications of Socialist Countries", a set of 2 stamps, designed by Mr. Sun Chuanzhe, engraved by Mr. Tang Linkun, and printed by China Modern Printing Company. The two stamps have the same pattern and different brush colors, "Post and Telecommunications - Flying Geese and Launch Tower" (175) is blue, and "Post and Telecommunications - Flying Geese and Transmission Tower" (176) is green.

On the screen, a flying goose with wings spread in the air, as if carrying an important letter, is trying to fly, borrowing the allusion of "flying goose book" circulating in China, implying the long history of post and telecommunications; a towering broadcasting tower in the sky, the radio waves are clearly visible, metaphorically the rapid development of the post and telecommunications science at that time.

Release background

From December 3 to 17, 1957, the Conference of Ministers of Posts and Telecommunications of socialist countries was held in Moscow, the capital of the Soviet Union. The meeting was attended by the ministers, deputy ministers and representatives of 12 socialist countries, namely Albania, Bulgaria, Hungary, the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, the German Democratic Republic, the People's Republic of China, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Mongolia, Poland, Romania, the Soviet Union and Czechoslovakia. The meeting adopted resolutions on improving communications between countries, drew up measures for further expanding scientific and technological cooperation in posts and telecommunications among socialist countries, signed an agreement on the Organization of Post and Telecommunications Cooperation in Socialist Countries, and further developed and consolidated cooperation in post and telecommunications operations between socialist countries.

On July 10, 1958, in order to commemorate the convening of the Moscow Conference of Socialist Ministers of Posts and Telecommunications, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of the People's Republic of China issued a commemorative stamp entitled "Moscow Conference of Ministers of Posts and Telecommunications of Socialist States".

Gu Jianhua, founder of the Stamp Exhibition Hall of The Post Office, Post Office, is a member of the 10th, 11th and 12th CPPCC Beijing Municipal Committee; a member of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th CPPCC Committee of Tongzhou District, Beijing; the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hanlin Cultural Development Center of the Grand Canal; the director of the Hanlin Folk Customs Museum of the Grand Canal; and the former editor-in-chief of the China Net Canal Channel.

In 2020, under the auspices and curation of Mr. Gu Jianhua, the Post Office Stamp Exhibition Hall with the theme of Post Office was established. The exhibition hall will sort out tens of thousands of stamps since the founding of New China, divided into 7 exhibition areas, disseminate popular science knowledge related to stamps, and develop postal and postal cultural tourism products with local characteristics of Jimingyi.

Jimingyi "Postal Station Cultural Theme Post Office" Stamp Exhibition Hall is located in the ancient city of Jimingyi in Huailai County, with a construction area of about 1,000 square meters, using a single-eaves warped wall-topping antique building.
