La Rioja Alta S.A.'s Grand Prize 890 (2005) and Grand Prize 904 (2011) were selected as two of the best wines in Spain with a score of 97 and are the only representatives of rioja's D.C.Ca.

The Decanter World Wine Competition states that Grand Prize 890 (2005) is "powerful" and Grand Prize 904 (2011) is "rounded and silky in taste, with delicate tannins", making them two outstanding wines.

This is definitely good news for La Rioja Alta S.A., but production of the two wines is limited, and Guillermo de Aranzabal, the owner of the River Oaks, currently sells them to more than 70 countries around the world through exclusive quotas.
