In the current era of global economic integration, interests are the touchstone between countries, especially between Western countries, there is no eternal friend, only eternal interests.
First, Turkey calls russia
The Crimean issue has always been the core contradiction between Russia and Ukraine, and Turkey, as a neighboring country, has always stood on the same position as the United States, Britain and Ukraine.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement that "the results of the voting on the National Duma elections in Crimea have no legal effect on Turkey", which not only once again made turkey's position and attitude in support of Ukraine, but also stressed through another statement that this is the fulfillment of the previous commitments made to Ukraine.
Of course, Russia will not give up on Turkey's remarks.
On September 21, Russian presidential spokesman Peskov said the Kremlin did not accept Ankara's remarks that the Crimean elections were "illegitimate" and hoped to discuss openly with Turkey.
Peskov stressed: "On the Crimean issue, the positions of the two sides are very different. The Russian side regrets Turkey's position, but at the same time hopes that with the passage of time, the political will will be shown, and Turkey will change its position and respect justice and facts. ”
When Peskov was asked whether Russia would recognize both sides as friendly countries if Turkey did not recognize Crimea, he responded, "Turkey is of course our partner, and individually divergent substantive issues are not, and should not be, an obstacle to our comprehensive development of bilateral relations and cooperation on a range of regional issues." ”
It is worth noting that although there have always been points of difference between Russia and Turkey, they are geographically close as countries that are trans-Eurasian, and after the collapse of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War, both countries have actively expanded their development space, so Peskov said that cooperation should continue, and hopes to bring the positions of both sides closer together.
In fact, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zakharova said to the point, in her view, Turkey fundamentally knows very well whose territory Crimea really is, and understands that once the statement is issued, it will attract moscow's attention, and this will certainly be detrimental to Russian-Turkish relations.
Turkey is a NATO country, you know, NATO is an international military bloc established by the United States and developed countries such as Western Europe and North America, Turkey from its own interests, to make such a "choice", to a certain extent, is to safeguard its own interests.
Russia clearly does not want its relations with Turkey to get worse, and it is crucial for Russia to clarify its political position while also improving its relations with Turkey and trying to align Turkey's interests with it. If the Russian side wants to change its position, or if it wants to resolve and improve the contradictions between Russia and Turkey, it may take a long time.
Second, in the United Nations General Assembly, Duterte denounced the rich countries of the West
On September 21, at the United Nations General Assembly, leaders of several developing countries called on rich countries to stop hoarding COVID-19 vaccines.
Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte warned that compared to developing countries, the vaccines in developed countries are not exhausted, but there are some countries that are unwilling to help developing countries, which is an "incredible" scenario.
Duterte also highlighted that the COVID-19 vaccine in poor countries is "artificially lacking", and rich countries are hoarding vaccines for life-saving purposes, while poor countries are waiting for donations, and this selfish approach must be condemned.
While Duterte didn't name "this rich country," the world knows who is hoarding vaccines.
In the big picture, the global supply and demand of vaccines is indeed worth paying attention to, with some rich Western countries already discussing the administration of booster injections, while some developing countries are only considering vaccinating half the dose just to survive.
I have to say that Duterte is indeed speaking out for developing countries this time, and the rich countries in the West are hoarding vaccines, preferring to place expired vaccines rather than donate them.
Third, Biden is in constant trouble
Biden's recent domestic and foreign affairs agenda has not progressed smoothly, facing increasing resistance and declining in the Democratic Regulation Festival. As of September 22, Gallup's latest poll showed biden's approval rating had fallen to 43 percent, a new low since taking office.
Since Biden took office, he has been in constant trouble and has encountered many "challenges" in the United States, with his most important $3.5 trillion budget stuck in Congress; thousands of Haitian refugees gathered across the southern border; and efforts to contain the covid-19 pandemic making little progress.
It is reported that Biden met with progressive and moderate members of the Senate and House of Representatives at the White House on the afternoon of the 22nd to try to bridge their differences and promote consensus on the huge budget. But because of the violent eviction of Haitian immigrants, which triggered a bipartisan backlash, things went rather poorly for Biden.
In the eyes of the outside world, the nearly 80-year-old Biden's physical condition is a mystery, dozing off during meetings, falling continuously when getting on the plane, and even former US President Trump has called him "sleepy Joe". Nowadays, more and more people question whether Biden can successfully complete the 4-year term of the US president, and as for governing the country well, many Americans have no hope for him.
