On January 18, Yibin City's 2022 large-scale commercial complex fire fighting and rescue combat drill was held in Wanda Plaza, Xuzhou District.
The drill simulated a fire in a shop on the first floor of Wanda Plaza, the fire spread rapidly, a large amount of smoke was generated at the scene, and many people were trapped and urgently needed rescue. The whole exercise involved multiple practical combat links such as the disaster response of shopping malls, the rescue of fire stations in the jurisdiction, the reinforcement of the full-time command of the municipal fire brigade, the launch of the three-level emergency response to fire safety incidents in Yibin City, and the reinforcement force to carry out fire fighting and rescue tasks, and a total of 22 vehicles and 108 people of various types of fire trucks in Yibin City were urgently mobilized, and 9 vehicles and 27 people from the social linkage forces such as public security, medical rescue, gas rescue, power rescue, and communication support were present to cooperate with the disposal.
The drill comprehensively tested the operation effect of the fire safety incident command system from the aspects of emergency response, command and dispatch, team assembly, resource sharing, consultation and judgment, and scientific disposal, effectively improved the scientific command and professional disposal level of fire fighting and rescue in Yibin large commercial complex, and further improved the multi-departmental linkage, emergency response and coordinated combat capabilities.

18 listed supervision of major fire hazards rectification and clearance
At present, in the period of high incidence of fires in winter and spring, coupled with the approaching Spring Festival, the fire department has increased supervision and law enforcement, paid close attention to key areas, and concentrated on rectification.
According to reports, in December 2018, after the Yibin Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government deployed and carried out centralized rectification actions for major hidden dangers throughout the city, a total of 18 major fire hazards were identified and listed for supervision. After three years, the party committees and governments at the municipal and county (district) levels and relevant industry departments took extraordinary measures according to local conditions and worked together to rectify 45 major fire hazards in the city, and all 18 major fire hazards listed at the municipal level were delisted, effectively improving the fire safety environment in Yibin.
