Wen Tianxiang's "Wooden Chicken Collection" cursive, on paper, 24.5 cm in length and 96.5 cm in width, collected by the Liaoning Provincial Museum.
The book was written on the winter solstice in the ninth year of Emperor Xianchun of Song Dynasty (1273), at the age of 38. The article was written at the request of fellow villager Zhang Qiangzhi. Wen Tianxiang's small seal has no relics, but Tao Zongyi's comment can be seen that his book is as virtuous as his person. Wen Tianxiang has passed down many lines of ink in cursive writing, especially the three posts of "Xie Changyuan's Right Self-Warning Dictionary", "Shanghong Zhai Ti" and "Wooden Chicken Collection Sequence" are the most classic.
The style of this volume is simple and simple, and there is a kind of clarity and beauty. The layout of the chapter method is relatively symmetrical, mainly in the longitudinal potential, with small word spacing and large line spacing. The overall ink color is wet and thick and does not change much. The knot is smooth and loose, the opening and closing are ranked, and the retraction is free, which is the meaning of the great effective Fa Huaisu. Such as "Dao" character, "fly" word, "Peng" word and so on. Use the pen to be gentle and smooth, the pen is forward, free and elegant. The hook ring makes the rotation more square with a round belt, which is more elegant. Such as "chapter" word, "gui" word, etc. The gestures are not too arbitrary but give people a neutral atmosphere, and although the dot painting is thin, it has masculine power. Although the overall momentum does not have the wildness of Huai Su, it shows the sense of bone strength and chastity, and it seems to be plain and exudes a strange state.
