Under the jurisdiction of the Baoquanling Administration Bureau of Agricultural Reclamation in Heilongjiang Province, there are four "like-minded" men who have formed a "dog stealing" gang that steals, produces, and sells a dragon and has a clear division of labor, and has committed 14 crimes in many places in Baoquanling, Heilongjiang Province.
On January 19, a reporter from Beijing Youth Daily learned from the Heilongjiang police that the police had now exhausted the criminal gang, which broke the delusion of the four people trying to get rich by stealing dogs.
From August 2021 to January 2022, Heilongjiang police successively received a number of reports of "inexplicable loss of their own dogs" from Baoquanling Farm, Gongqing Farm and surrounding areas in Baoquanling's jurisdiction.
The police handling the case conducted correlation analysis of similar cases within their jurisdiction, through on-site field investigation, retrieved surveillance video data around the place involved in the case, combined with comprehensive analysis of multiple field visits, and found that similar cases that occurred during this period were most likely committed by the same gang.
In mid-January 2022, the Xiangyang Police Station of the Baoquanling Public Security Substation, together with the Baoquanling Police Station, the Yanjun Police Station and other fraternal units, coordinated and continuously fought with each other. On January 12, Zhang Mou (pseudonym), Zhao Mou (pseudonym), Liu Mou (pseudonym), and Guan Mou (pseudonym) were successfully arrested in the homes of Hegang City, Baoquanling Farm, and Gongqing Farm.
It is understood that the four people involved in the case all have a history of theft, because the criminal suspect Liu Mou opened a dog meat restaurant in the Baoquanling jurisdiction, the four people started from the old business and created a one-stop "new road to get rich" of "stealing, producing and selling".
After overnight interrogation by the police, in the face of sufficient and conclusive evidence, the criminal suspect confessed to the criminal facts of the four people in Baoquanling Farm, Gongqing Farm, Yanjun Farm, Hebei Town, Tuanjie Town and other places in Baoquanling Farm, Gongqing Farm, Yanjun Farm, Hebei Town, Tuanjie Town and other places from August 2021 to January 2022, committing 14 consecutive thefts and stealing 14 dogs, and preliminarily ascertained that the total amount involved was more than 10,000 yuan.
At present, all 4 criminal suspects are under criminal detention by the police, and the series of cases is being further handled.
