The last Russian peacekeepers were withdrawn from Kazakhstan

On January 19, local time, the Russian Defense Ministry said that the last four military transport aircraft taken by Russian peacekeepers have taken off from the airports of Nur-Sultan and Almaty in Kazakhstan and are about to return to Russia. The crew included the last Russian peacekeeping forces and commanders led by General Serdyukov.
