After moving twice in more than ten years, He Manxiao and his wife returned to the foot of Luoshan Mountain and became one of the few families to live in.

At the end of the last century, the fireworks at the foot of Luoshan Mountain in the Hongsibao District of Wuzhong City were still very strong. In this area of 60 square kilometers, there are nearly 7,000 abandoned courtyards, more than 8,200 houses and nearly 10,000 cave dwellings. The ecological migrants here have only been relocated for about 20 years.

He Manxiao was born in his early 60s in Xu Bingshui, Hongsibao District, Wuzhong City, a Zhuangzi next to Luoshan Mountain. In the past ten years and nine droughts in their hometown, the villagers rely on the sky to eat, and the crops are widely planted and harvested. They eat miscellaneous grains, live in earthen kilns, and food and clothing are problematic. At that time, Xu Bingshui people relied on the mountains to eat the mountains, went up the mountains to collect firewood and herd sheep, swallowed the cellar water bitterly, and then led the spring water from the mountains to drink.

After entering the 1980s, Luoshan began to be "overwhelmed", the mountain became "bald", and the Xu Bingshui below the mountain also became "dirty" - the village often encountered sand and dust days. In those years, people and mountains were "hurt".

In 2003, He Manxiao and his family moved to Dongchuan Village, Xinzhuangji Township, Hongsibao District. In those years, the western foothills of Luoshan launched large-scale ecological migration relocation. Immediately after, the Luoshan Nature Reserve was established, and some of the old Zhuangzi that had been evacuated were packaged in, and there was Xu Bingshui inside.

After moving to Dongchuan Village, He Manxiao's family lived in a brick and tile house, drank tap water, planted water to water the ground, and the days became more and more prosperous. The children are also very successful when they grow up: the eldest son works as a doctor at the Hongsibao District People's Hospital, and the younger son also drives a car wash shop in the local area. In their new homeland, immigrants live the well-off life they have dreamed of.

After the children started a family, He Manxiao and his wife had no worries and looked for something to do. In 2017, they went to Luoshan Flying Camp as a security guard, living here all year round to "watch the field", earning 3600 yuan a month.

Luoshan Flight Camp is built at the foot of Luoshan Mountain, which has the advantages of wide airspace, gentle terrain, stable low air flow, etc., and after the relocation of migrants, there are no personnel and building obstacles, and it can host the National Youth Aerospace Model Championship all year round.

In this way, He Manxiao returned to the foot of Luo Mountain. In addition to "watching the scene", the two also opened a small shop, selling small snacks such as ham sausages and instant noodles, which can sell for thousands of dollars a day in the peak season. Over the years, Luoshan Flight Camp has attracted 900 aviation model aircraft experts and coaches, more than 5,000 (times) young athletes from all over the country, and more than 100,000 aviation sports enthusiasts and overseas tourists.

The relocation of migrants and the establishment of nature reserves have made the ecological environment at the foot of Luoshan Better and better, and outdoor activities such as hiking, stargazing, and camping have emerged.

Let's talk about the starry sky at the foot of The Red Temple Baoluo Mountain, which has become more and more brilliant over the years. According to the measurement, the Bautel dark space in this airspace is classified as level 2, ranking among the best stargazing places in the country, attracting more and more stargazers. Last year, the Luoshan Flying Camp built a stargazing building with a height of 5 floors to facilitate stargazing. At present, "Luoshan Stargazing" has become a new tourism business card of Hongsi Fort.

In addition to cultivating new industries such as aviation and stargazing, the Hongsibao District has built an old migrant site opposite the Luoshan Flying Camp. This old immigrant site was built in a village called "Zhu Zhuangzi" by immigrants who moved out, and some earthen houses and hoop kilns were collected, and old photos of the owner's family were hung in it, and old objects such as cabinets and kang tables were added, and the home furnishings were the same as in the past.

Li Yanwei, deputy director of the Hongsibao District Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Sports, Radio, Film and Television, said that the former site of immigrants in Hongsibao District will also launch a farm project to attract more tourists to experience traditional farm life here.

When he was idle, He Manxiao often went to the old immigrant site opposite, which was the same as his hometown Xu Bingshui, bringing him back to the years when he was planing food in the soil. Looking back at the Luoshan Flying Camp with the sky as the main position, He Manxiao said that this was really "one heaven and one underground."
