A unique calf was born with four nostrils and three eyes, and the locals believe it is the embodiment of God.
Holstein Friesland Jersey Cow was born on a farm in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh Pradesh, India, where locals are lining up to visit the "sacred animals".
Farmer Neeraj Chandel claims that many believe it is the Hindu god Shiva, also known as the Lord of the Cattle.
In the photo and video footage, the cow can be seen having a third eye on its forehead and four nostrils.
Neeraj said: "The cow was all his life, we thought it was some kind of wound on his forehead, and then with the help of a flashlight, we found out that it was an eye.

"Then we found four nostrils and further saw locals pouring into our homes after births at night.
"The calf exercises normally, drinks milk from the mother's udder and makes full use of the third eye of the forehead.
"It's more like God visiting us.
Indian calves weigh about 30 pounds and have a longer tongue than regular calves, but still manage to drink milk normally.

Locals believe that the birth of this animal will bring good luck and prosperity to the villagers, and many people will bring gifts such as coconuts and flowers to the animals.
This is not the first calf to be born with multiple eyes.
In May 2021, a three-eyed calf arrived in BrynMore, North Wales, where it was later slaughtered.
While indian calves are not destined to be slaughtered, its future remains uncertain because a livestock department official believes the animal will not survive for long.

"These are rare cases, but this mutant animal won't survive much longer," they said.
"They either live for 24 months or die within weeks.
Neeraj has contacted a local veterinarian for medical examinations, and he confirmed that the three-eyed calf is currently healthy despite its unusual mutations.
The farmer also confirmed that other calves previously born to his cows were in good health.

He added: "Before this birth, she had already given birth to two [calves]. They are healthy and do not have any mutations.
As for the unusual appearance, doctors have confirmed that the extra characteristics of cows depend purely on science.
Private practitioner Madan Anand said: "The birth of the calf is just another case of deformity.
"It has nothing to do with superstition or even belief.
"People should be aware, especially those from rural areas, that they tend to worship this animal."

"Local veterinarians have conducted awareness-raising campaigns in their respective fields to avoid this practice.
Although many consider the calf's rare appearance to be a sacred miracle, veterinarians insist that the cause of the deformity is a hormonal disorder.
The reaction of people in the nearby area shows that the calf is very important.
It still struggles to stay upright like other calves when they are just born.
But the reaction of the crowd that gathered together suggests that it has great significance.
