Russian media: US imperialism and European princely states are the real enemies of Europe

In the last century, Europe witnessed two world wars playing out on their continent. With the death of the older generation, the memory of that destruction has vanished. Europe seems determined to follow America in waging another war this century.

Russia finds itself in a diabolical position. It confronts American and European idiots.

Simply put, it's a ridiculous arena: the United States and Europe have warned Moscow that Russia will face serious consequences if it escalates tensions over Ukraine.

U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland told the media that if Russia "takes" "actions" seen as hostile to Ukraine, it will cause "very acute, very rapid pain" to Russia.

Meanwhile, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock warned that any "further provocations" by Russia against Ukraine would result in "high economic, strategic and political costs."

Bellbock noted that the cancellation of the Nord Stream 2 gas project between Russia and the European Union could be such a "high price."

Washington and its European "partners" (euphemistically parable as "vassals") have been accusing Russia of planning to invade Ukraine, allegedly on a massive border mobilization of troops. U.S. intelligence predicts that Russia will continue to implement its so-called invasion plan this month.

Moscow has repeatedly refuted these claims, calling them baseless hysteria. Russia says it has no plans to invade Ukraine or any other country. It claims that the movement of troops within Russia is a matter of sovereignty and needs no explanation.

Russia noted that the military buildup was actually carried out by the NATO-backed Ukrainian regime as well as the United States and other NATO members who have deployed warplanes and warships near the Russian border.

The reality was thus subverted. It is not Russia that is escalating tensions. It is the U.S.-led NATO alliance and its partner Ukraine. They are the aggressors.

Paradoxically, when Russia points to the situation of such provocations, it is again falsely accused of "escalating tensions."

At a high-level meeting last week, Russian officials told their U.S. and NATO counterparts that they would not tolerate further eastward expansion of Western military blocs, including Ukraine's future membership. Russia has also demanded that the United States withdraw its strike weapons from Eastern Europe, such as the Baltic states.

However, these reasonable security proposals from Moscow were distorted as "orders" and "violations of sovereignty." Russia's insistence on such basic security requirements has been ostensibly exacerbated by U.S. and NATO accusations.

In other words, Moscow is in a dangerous lose-lose situation. Russia's mere protest against provocations and aggression by the United States and its NATO proxies is further accused of "escalation." That serves as an excuse for NATO to step up its aggressive posture toward Russia, from deploying more military forces along Russia's borders to imposing tough sanctions on key foundations of its economy.

Thus, the so-called "escalation of tensions in Russia" has become an all-encompassing tactic in which nato powers have beaten the drums of war more violently while accusing Moscow of being held accountable for tensions.

A passage from the German Foreign Minister represents this madness. Speaking with the Ukrainian foreign minister, Belberg said: "No country has the right to order other countries which way to go, what kind of relations to establish with which countries, what kind of alliances to form with which countries ... Every further act of aggression will cost Russia dearly. ”

It is the United States and Ukraine that have been issuing orders to the European Union to refrain from trading gas and energy with Russia.

This is at the heart of the current crisis in Ukraine. Washington does not want to see Europe and Russia develop a mutually beneficial relationship. This goes back decades to the real cause of the Cold War with the Soviet Union.

The United States, and its proxies, do not want to see it maintain normal relations with Russia, Europe's largest country. They are the real enemies of the People of Europe, who would rather see war on the Continent than abandon their ideological ambitions.

The Russian Satellite News Agency commented that US imperialism and its European vassals are the real people of Europe. Blaming Russia for the escalation of tensions is a ruse of these enemies aimed at waging a war in Europe to satisfy the hegemonic interests of US imperialism.
